This fair is overpriced and disappointing. The food is all junk and wildly expensive — $15–$18 for a corndog, $4 for a water bottle, $10 for lemonade and none of it is good. Very few rides for kids under 5, and the $40 wristband isn’t worth it when long lines (and the heat) mean you might only get on 7 rides between 8 PM and 11 PM. Parking is $25, and they still charge a $13 entrance fee per adult which should be free considering the insane profits they’re making inside. Expect to spend at least $200 for a family of four… for an overpriced, underwhelming night. Tip: Go prepared, bring your own snacks, water, and even iced bottles so you’re not stuck paying their crazy prices. Don’t buy wrist bands for little kids but instead take them to the farm side to see animals or...
Read moreThe Montgomery county fair is an annual event which showcases agriculture and its history. There is a lot of things to learn and enjoy. It usually spans a week and comprised o f two sections, the one which is mostly about the agriculture, animals and the history of growth of agriculture in MC. The other section is rides and carnival. Honestly, one day is not sufficient, ideally try and go there two days ( weekdays if possible), weekends are packed. Take the carnival bad if you want to enjoy the rides, be prepared to stand in queues after 5 pm, before that its much faster. Attend the monster truck and demolition derby if you can and have a...
