After 9 month later we go back to the same place food come out slow and we go there because we got email from iHop said one Kids eat free every day with adult entree and got one kids'meal free. so we thought let give them one more try. That is wrong decision we make, before we order our entree I ask the waitress could we use the coupon and he didn't know he said need to show the manager. Few mins later I hear his manager told him to tell us it is ok we got coupon. Then we start order waitress we have is nice and take the order fast. But our food didn't come out for 25 mins and 10 mins for 3 cups of hot chocolate. The food is just ok not good!! When we got our check the kids meal didn't take of from it and he tell me the front desk will taking care of it. Then we went up to pay our bill and show the coupon to the front desk and she said we can use it. It only for Tuesday. But on the coupon said every days and I told her the manager said ok. Then she check with the manager again and he came out said he did not said that is ok to use and keep said it is not for everyday just Tuesday. He told me they are not follow the offer iHop posted or offer the customer got from email from iHop. I show him on the coupon showed everyday and that is on ihop website as well. Then he said he can do it "just for this time!" I feel like that we ask for something that they didn't offer and sound like we made it up try to get free stuff for nothing. Do not go there they will not accept Coupon that is from their own company. 11/11/16
First of all, our waitress was very slow and not friendly. We have to wait 30 mins for our food to come out. If we didn't ask for it I think we have to wait other 30 mins. There are unlimited pancake but each re-fell will take 10-15 mins. Also one of the order with sunny side up eggs can be cooked little time the egg white still clear. As them to re-cook the egg it took other 15 mins. I don't think the sunny side up egg need 15 mins to cook. We are used to go the this IHop they are closer and used to be good and fast service. I don't think we will go back there anytime soon. When we paid the manager ask how is the dinner tonight I told him the food come out slow and service is bad. Read moreI was feeling down and wanted to go out with my kids so I went to Gaithersburg IHop on 1/20/22. Meagan S. happened to be our server. To begin with, she had an attitude and was very cold and rude at the same times. When asked questions about menu she was like what you mean I don’t understand? She was so rude (there were many times I felt like just getting up and leaving but i didn’t because I didn’t want to mess up my kids evening they were happy to be out and they love Ihop)And no it wasn’t like she she didn’t understand my English she just had an attitude. Long story short, she brought our food and didn’t bring my gluten free pancakes for another half an hour. I understand this is probably not her fault but by the time she brought it my Kids were done with their food but she never even apologized for bring it that late and quietly put it on the table. Earlier when she brought my kids food or when she brought my pancakes she never even asked if we needed anything else or if were ok. Then she turns around and without asking us if we she could bring our bill she brought our bill and placed it on the table. when I told her my son wants strawberry milkshake she took the bill back and brought him milkshake with bill again still didn’t say anything. I honestly have a feeling she either doesn’t like people and is doing a job which isn’t clearly for her or she has something against foreigners or specifically feel ok to be rude to brown people. Read moreI visited this location this past Saturday around 10 PM after a nearly 5-hour drive with my family. We were warmly greeted by two young men at the front, who were both polite and welcoming, a great first impression.
Unfortunately, the service went downhill from there. We waited at our table for about 10 minutes before our server, Carla, finally approached us, not with a greeting, but with an unpleasant attitude and a rushed “Are you ready to order?” Despite her demeanor, we placed both our drink and food orders.
It took nearly 15 minutes to receive our drinks and another 20 for our food to arrive. Worse yet, some items were missing. Since our server was nowhere to be found and hadn't checked on us at all, we flagged down one of the boys who had greeted us earlier. He was incredibly kind, apologized for the oversight, and promptly tried to help. Shortly after, the manager brought out the missing items and also offered an apology, which we really appreciated.
Later, Carla returned and told us not to call other servers to our table, even though she had been completely absent and unhelpful. Her attitude remained rude and unprofessional throughout the night. It’s disappointing to encounter someone so clearly unsuited for a customer-facing role in hospitality.
