Chapters Bookshop — Local services in Galax

Chapters Bookshop is a wonderful, small town bookstore with many beautiful gifts, tons of used books, all the latest new books and a large selection of regionally written books. I do not know why the lady who wrote the review before had such an unpleasant experience, but I had to write to assure everyone that Chapters is quite capable of getting the books you want and all their service is helpful and friendly. This is the first time I have ever heard of anyone having any kind of issue at Chapters. If this person had a problem, she must not have spoken with Sharon, the owner. Sharon would have immediately resolved any issues and made sure this customer was happy. There are always two sides and I am positive there is more to this previous reviewer's story. This is my favorite store, just for me!!! A couple of weeks ago they had food and wine tasting. Many samples of the food was serviced and a free recipe to make the item. They sold the main ingredient for each and the rest was easy to find in the grocery store. So far I have made 4 of the recipes and each were simply delicious. The Lemon Curd/apple tarts, Creamy chicken chili, yum!, Strawberry, tangerine cake with topping, and Granola mix, were easy to make, all of my friends and family loved each of them. Not to mention all the other things I bought for Christmas decorations and gifts. The store staff are wonderful, friendly, happy people loving what they do.
