The day I was at the Verizon Store, the name of the associate who waited on me was Laura. She was knowledgeable about electronics, while I can barely change a light bulb! She patiently explained all points to me and it was finally decided that a new phone was my only recourse. She worked with me for a couple hours trying very hard to pull all of my information, pictures, etc from my old phone. But due to it falling from my car, there was info enveloped in cracks and folds that we could not retrieve. We then touched on wifi for where I lived. It has very poor service and I finally ditched DirectTV and was using little portable hot spots from the local library. She talked about the ones offered through your service and because I had an appointment I could not stay for all the info. But I did call her on the phone and got further info on it and returned a couple days later and picked up a portable wifi set-up. BEST decision made in a long time. Laura was informed, kind, and deftly led me through anything I did not immediately grasp (even when I asked her to reduce it to words of one syllable or less.) Read moreGreat customer service. I went in to get new phone and watch covers for my devices. Cara installed both. She also looked up my account and let me know that I was getting ripped off. It wasn’t her store. It was a store in California that I got my phones from that were ripping me off. I can say this for sure, Cara, the manager of the store, is honest and will help as best she can. She stuck up for me while trying to get the fraudulent charge off my account. She stayed on the phone for over an hour with Verizon just to help me out. I recommend this store to anybody who has Verizon or needs help with Verizon services.
Update: I had to return to this store because Verizon customer service (via 611) was useless. Cara got everything sorted out.
It needs to be said; Verizon customer service via 611 is 1 step away from useless. They’ll try to rip you off. All they care about is getting money out of you.
