Being very new to the area, I googled Antique shops in the area. And after shopping at a couple close by, I was then referred to Enchanting Objects by a local antique shop owner. When I arrived I knew immediately I was in the right place. The adorable charm & architecture of this old house immediately drew me in & sets the mood for what’s in store inside. As I opened the front door I felt like a kid in a candy store. So many beautiful and unique items to look at and choose from. Admittedly I was overwhelmed with nostalgia and spent a lot of time just taking it all in. I was greeted warmly by the owner who even took the time to tell me about all the different shops in the area, the pop up events to plan for and even called another shop for me to check whether they still had something I have been searching ages for that she happened to see posted a little while back. The entire time I was there I could feel the love, pride and passion radiate from this place and from Lori who is just awesome and amazingly fun to talk to. Inside there are all kinds of beautiful and ornate treasures that you just cannot find anywhere else. And when you step outside you are transformed to this amazing rustic, farmhouse retreat filled with unique finds. I found so many things I’ve been searching for years for and even more that I didn’t even know I needed. I had such a blast here and truly cannot wait to go back. If you love all things vintage, antique, farmhouse, Hollywood regency, Ornate, unique one of a kind furniture & decor & looking for an amazing experience, you must visit Enchanting Objects. If you don’t, you’re definitely missing out. I’m so happy to have found my...
Read moreIt's a sad day. I didn't think I'd ever see it, but Enchanting Objects has transitioned over to being a thrift store. Two years of waiting on a list to be a vendor, never to be given a call. I deal in primitives, shabby chic, collectibles and Antiques. Recently they added a new vendor for the small travel trailer........thrift store items. I'm in shock. Now Enchanting Objects sells t-shirts, tank tops and junk. Funny story though, I was in another large Antique store nearby and was talking about looking for a space to lease and Enchanting Objects was brought up by this store. THe woman behind the counter said, one thing I don't like about them, is how they are never open. SO TRUE!!! I can't say how many times we've driven there and it's closed. The last tie was hilarious because they had a note saying they would be closing at 3 due to the heat. WHAT?? If it's hot and people choose to shop there, that's on them. We were all in agreement that we don't know how vendors make any kind of profit there given it's open like a day a week. In terms of being a vendor there, I think it's just who you know there, not based on any sort of honor system. I can go to Goodwill to get tank tops and t-shirts....
