Nice grocery store. Good selection... Definitely the best on the West side of the lake. I made the mistake of trying to buy groceries at the place a few miles south (Bear lake market) and it was basically like a glorified gas station. Mike's is great... Clean and organized, will lot and friendly staff. I went here to get some aloe gel and I obviously want the only one looking for that stuff at Bear lake... There was a giant thing of it in the aisle right at the front. Prices were decent. I didn't feel like I was getting gouged like at the other place. If I'm in the area again looking for groceries I'm definitely coming here.

A little disappointed I have to say. I ran down to get a little snack from the deli. I was just looking for a couple of chicken strips and jojo potatoes or something. This is what I got very dry and mostly cold chicken strips. Fries were also on the cold side and were mushy. I was expecting to pay maybe 4.50. But these were 7.50 cause they put it under a meal instead. If you’re going to charge premium prices for things make sure the food is actually somewhat decent. Kind feeling ripped off.

Mikes Market helped cater an event for 50+ people over 3 days, and boy was it such a great decision! We worked close with Larry on execution of the meals, and he was an absolute pleasure to work with. From the get go, they were determined to make the food for our event perfect, providing flexibility in terms of vegan and gluten friendly options that were all very delicious. If you are looking for a 5-star catering experience, look no further - Mikes Market has you covered!

Mike’s Market in Garden City is a standout gem for both locals and visitors exploring the Bear Lake area. Conveniently located on Bear Lake Boulevard, it’s the go-to grocery store for anyone needing essentials, snacks, or even a quick bite during their lake adventures. The store is impressively clean and well-organized, making it easy to navigate even during busy summer weekends. Shelves are consistently stocked with a wide variety of items—from fresh produce and meats to pantry staples and specialty products like homemade blackberry sorbet⁽¹⁾.

One of the most appreciated aspects of Mike’s Market is its pricing. Unlike other nearby stores that feel more like overpriced gas stations, Mike’s offers fair prices without sacrificing quality⁽²⁾. Whether you're grabbing sunscreen, aloe gel, or ingredients for a lakeside BBQ, you won’t feel gouged. The store also features digital coupons and a rewards program, which adds extra value for frequent shoppers⁽¹⁾.

Customer service is another highlight. Staff members are friendly, helpful, and efficient, creating a welcoming atmosphere that makes shopping pleasant. Many reviewers mention how easy it is to find what they need thanks to the thoughtful layout and signage. Even during peak tourist season, the checkout lines move quickly, and employees remain courteous and upbeat.

Mike’s Market also caters to a range of tastes and dietary needs. You’ll find gluten-free options, organic products, and even some local Utah-made goods that give the store a unique regional flavor. The in-store shopping experience is complemented by online features like weekly ads and product previews, which are great for planning ahead⁽¹⁾.

In short, Mike’s Market is more than just a grocery store—it’s a reliable, friendly, and well-stocked hub for anyone spending time in Garden City. Whether you’re a local resident or just passing through for a weekend at Bear Lake, it’s worth stopping in. Five stars for cleanliness, selection, and service.

(P.S, I made this review by putting the things I liked about this place...

So I have always been a big fan of the market I have been shopping for years there but the last time I was there my girlfriend and I were shopping for a few necessities and I had forgotten that day I had noticed some unauthorized charges to a few accounts and had called the card company I was very frustrated and the cashier was very patient and very nice and I said I guess we will have to put it back II thought she was canceling the order but instead she swipped her card payed for it and she said ok your all set I was so shocked I had a hard time gathering my thoughts but when I did I said no no no she said its ok you are good to go I sure hope you have a better day i Don't think I should put her name on here because I don't know if she wants it on here but even now as I sat on hold for 45 minutes to talk to the very card company that started off that night but even now it just makes me smile what a gem of an employee who does that these days I am going to call her boss and I'm going to pay her back I will never forget her $26.52 might as well been a million I still can't believe how quickly she made it happen how happy she was to do it I cant thank you enough I don't know how I can recommend this place more but I would yell from the mountain tops this place its emplyee are tops in my...

I guess Mike elicited his family to write good reviews. I'm appalled at the poor service, terrible attitudes of the employees. First, we were at the deli counter. One other couple were there as well. No employee approached us. I finally caught the attention of the guy doing sushi. I asked him if he could help us. He said flat out NO. I asked him if he could get the attention of the other employees behind the counter. He looked at them and looked at me and repeated NO. I said it must be nice to not have to help customers and still get paid. A second trip was no better. We went through the self help counter with a hat that had no price. I walked over to the self help attendant and waved him over because he was talking to a girl. He LOOKED ME IN THE EYES AND THEN ignored me. Flat ignored me. So, I walked up and asked for his help. He said something and I said well the pretty girl had his attention to which he replied, "Oh that is my sister." To which I replied, "Okay, that's just weird then." The other employee, the sister, gave me a dirty look. We didn't buy the hat.

We got back in the car and drove down the street to another better hat place. The help actually...
