I recently stayed over the weekend everything was good until Saturday afternoon one of our bathrooms ran out of toilet paper. Sunday morning both bathrooms had no toilet paper so I call the number that was left for us to call if the bathrooms need attention. I called 7:24 am Sunday morning to let them know there was no toilet paper. The guy said someone will be out in 30 minutes to fill it up, I let him know that was not ok we have been out of toilet paper in one stall since Saturday afternoon. One hour goes by and STILL NO TOILET PAPER. Not to mention in the bathrooms they had dollar store soap and it was not soap, it was watered down soap… this is a bit ridiculous considering a camp site with no electricity, water, or shade (no trees to be found) cost $80 a night. After going to the office at 8:30 am and calling trail side after hours no one was “available”. I had to call the marina side to get ahold of someone and ask for toilet paper. Finally, some worked came by and drove right passed the bathroom. I had to call marina side AGAIN and let them know there was no soap or toilet paper. I stopped at the overflow side to pick up my trailer (which I was charger extra for my vehicle) and saw the golf cart coming down the road. I stopped to ask them if they happened to put toilet paper and soap in the bathroom since last time they drove by they didn’t put anything in. In the middle of me trying to talk to them they drove off. I cannot believe this is the type of service we get at...
Read moreOur recent stay at the KOA Campground was truly unforgettable, and I feel compelled to share our wonderful experience. After being on the road for 2.5 months with three kids under 3.5 years old, this campground turned out to be our favorite and most memorable stop.
From the moment we arrived, Chuck and Audrey made our stay exceptional. Audrey, though not a native to the area, has spent almost all of her free time traveling and adventuring. Her extensive knowledge of the local region was remarkable—she provided us with invaluable tips on where to find great food, shopping, lake access, and the best hiking trails within a two-hour radius. Her passion for exploration and her friendly demeanor made her an incredible guide for us and our little ones.
Chuck, on the other hand, was the epitome of warmth and hospitality. He went above and beyond to ensure that our family was well taken care of. His kindness was evident in every interaction, and his thoughtful gesture of delivering firewood to our camp site truly enhanced our experience. Chuck’s loving nature made us feel right at home.
If Chuck and Audrey are at Bear Lake KOA next year, I would gladly make the trip just to see them again. Their dedication and care made our stay not only comfortable but truly special. Thank you, Chuck and Audrey, for making our visit so...
Read moreI Would avoid this camp site. There was no one in the office, only a number to call if you had questions. We called multiple times abd never received a call back. We arrived on Monday, , and they neglected to tell anyone that the code changes every Tuesday for bathrooms and the laundry room. There were at least 3 sets of campers trying to access the bathrooms and laundry room besides us. There was not even room to park our truck, even though they were given the length of our trailer upon making the reservations. My husband was told he had to move his truck from the camp site across from our site, because it was needed for a camper. We were there 3 days and there was never anyone at the site in those 3 days.We were also told they consider the truck a seperate vehicle Someone one came by in a little vehicle on the 3rd day and we told im we wanted to speak to the manager that was at the other KOA. He had an attitude before we even spoke to him. He was rude and condescending. Our friend went down to ask a question from the camp host at six pm and was told they were off the clock! Not a good experience at all!!! On the up side...Bear Lake...
