We've always been curious about this place since it always looks busy. Now we know why. They take FOREVER and a half to do anything. Seriously, you could fly to France, get a crepe, and come back in the time it took to get one here. We got there at 11:50. We were told it would be about 40 minutes to get crepes. Our crepes came out TWO HOURS LATER. Management was either non-existent or ineffective. The microphone broke and instead of trying to fix it or trying to yell names, or coming up with a different solution to get people their food, they continued to talk into the microphone, turned up the volume on the music, and then just stopped saying names at all for quite a while. Not to mention the fact that there weren't even that many people to justify such a long wait for. Something is messed up with their entire process. Our drinks only took about 30 minutes to get and they were pretty good. If we came back, that's all we should get. We ordered a panini that initially took 30 minutes to get, but was made incorrectly and it took another 20 to get the remade one. It was pretty good, but not worth the wait. Our crepes were pretty subpar. Crepes are my favorite food and I eat them any chance I can, but what we got did not meet my expectations. They are undercooked, thick, and chewy. We got the Italian and it was pretty clear that they didn't season the spinach when they cooked it - I'm not even sure they used salt. We also got the lemon souffle, which had lemon seeds in it - a sign that they do use fresh lemon juice, but also a sign that there was very little care in making it. All in all, I was pretty dissatisfied. I'm pretty flexible about my schedule and even I thought it was too long to spend waiting for food. Looking at the reviews, it looks like this is a consistent issue. It's probably time for management (or the owners) to reevaluate the systems in place...
Read moreOur group of 9 stopped in for breakfast, and while we were hopeful for a great experience, it was a bit of a mixed bag. Right off the bat, we were confused by the signage—one large sign near the entrance said “Wait to be Seated,” but just a couple of feet away, another said “Seat Yourself.” After standing around, we were eventually told to seat ourselves. We chose to sit outside but couldn’t find a table large enough, so we combined two. Unfortunately, we were then reprimanded for moving furniture, which felt a bit harsh—especially since the sign explaining that rule was apparently near the parking lot and easy to miss. I’m not typically one to leave reviews, but I was genuinely disappointed with how the staff handled this. A simple, welcoming approach could’ve made all the difference—something like: “Welcome to Crepes & Coffee! Is this your first time here? Just so you know, menus are inside or you can scan the QR code at the table. When you're ready, come on in to order. Oh, and we ask guests not to move tables, but totally understand you might’ve missed the small sign. If you wouldn’t mind putting them back when you’re done, we’d appreciate it!” That would’ve gone a long way. As for the food: the atmosphere was absolutely charming and cozy. The sandwiches got great reviews from our group—but the crepes were sadly disappointing. They were very dry and tasted more like crispy tortillas than crepes. Most of us just ate the fillings. Another small issue: we were given a buzzer for each family group, but when we went to pick up food, parts of our orders weren’t ready. It kind of defeated the purpose of having a buzzer system. In the end, it wasn’t a terrible visit, but the service and food quality (for crepes at least) left us unsure if we’d return. Hoping this feedback helps them improve, because the place definitely...
Read moreMy husband and I have driven past this place several times and decided to give it a try. This is a super cute place and we wanted to enjoy a cup of coffee and some crepes outside on a beautiful morning I figured the wait would be worth it. We waited in line 20 minutes and were given a buzzer to alert us when our food was ready. We waited another 15+ minutes for the buzzer (we were ok with all of this ). When I went to the counter to pick up my food they informed me that only half of my order was ready and they would alert me when the remaining entree was ready. I went back to my table and waited another 15 minutes while. I told my husband not to wait on my food - his was getting cold. I finally went back to the counter to see if I had missed something. One of the workers informed me that they were still working on the order and that they would let me know. At that point I expressed that it would be better is our orders could be delivered at that same time for a better experiences. She curtly replied that they weren’t that kind of restaurant and that my expectations were ridiculous. I stood there for another 5 minutes waiting for my scramble. I won’t be returning
The food was ok —- however I feel like they are using the Starbucks business model —- big mistake — my husband and I are willing to pay $60+ for breakfast when the atmosphere and service are par with the price. We didn’t get to enjoy our meals together and we were treated very poorly when I expressed that we wanted our meals to arrive at least somewhat close to each other.
Oh — and we paid a 20% tip up front. My suggestion - hire servers to deliver food to tables and manage orders so the patrons can fully enjoy the dining experience. It will pay off in the long...
