Beware when shopping with this company. I purchased an item, and underneath the item said "Free shipping on ALL orders." So I proceeded to purchase. I then look at my receipt and see that I as charged almost $13 for regular ground shipping!
So I emailed the company and they told me that was an error on their part. It should have been free shipping on $50 or more.
I told them I would like them to refund me back for the shipping as this was charged under false pretenses and they refused. No apology or anything.
A company that can't own up to their mistakes and make a customer whole, is a greedy company. I will never do business there again and if I were you, I would think twice about purchasing from a company who responds so poorly to error.
update: I never have reviewed a company publicly with a negative review (look at my past reviews, they are ALL positive, so for me to do this means I am really upset with how I was treated). After the company saw this review, they decided it would be very appropriate of them to cancel my already processed order without saying anything to me. Just like they mishandled the shipping charge issue , they chose to be petty again. After the order was cancelled I called the supervisor Ricky to see what was going on and he could not have been more rude to me. To treat a customer like this, is 100% unacceptable. I would have been more than happy to take down my initial review if Ricky was able to speak to me with some respect. I did not want to spend more money to make it to the $50 threshold or cancel my order- and it's sad that those are the only two options offered when I simply just wanted a refund on the shipping as I purchased the item with the expectation that free shipping was on all orders.. just like the website said (and yes, I have the screenshots). Please just think twice before purchasing from them. They have really nice items, but if you work hard for your money and want to spend it on a company that will treat you with respect, this is just not the...
Read moreThis is the first time I am writing a review about a company. I usually never write reviews but I had to share my terrible experience with this place. I worked as a designer for a well known company and we would go here with my design team to purchase some old shirts for design inspiration. We never had to buy in bulk. We always bought around 5-10 pieces and had no issues. I decided to go here myself and check it without the team. I spent 1.5 hour digging the clothes and I grabbed two items. When I was checking out, the guy was extremely rude and he was asking me all these personal questions. Why are you buying this, Are you going to resell it, Are you going to produce more of it, How much would you pay yourself for an hour?... I could not tell If he was joking or not. He said he was trying to decide how much to charge me. He decided to charge me $500 for a dress. Yes $500 for a basic non brand goodwill dress.. His reason was because they sell wholesale and their minimum is $500. I said no thanks and walked out. I was in a shock and had hard time to process how he was treating me. I went back inside and told him he was being very rude and when we came here with my team we never had to purchase for $500 or in bulk. It was never the case when we shopped here with my company. We would show up anytime we wanted and only grab a few things. He never apologized for his rudeness and kept talking over me. I left and I am never going back to this place. I will make sure my company and all other designers know about my experience and never do business with these people again. This is the worst place to go shop vintage clothes. They don't sell anything brand other than Levis. It is just a big and ugly goodwill. Please do yourself a favor and avoid this place. I still cannot believe I was treated that way. Extremely rude and totally unacceptable. This is not how you run a business. Learn to be polite...
Read moreUpon my recent visit my partner and I spent 4 hours digging through the endless piles of clothes they have. After finally finishing up and ready to purchase we went to the checkout area. Greg, the guy who rang us up, was busy with other customers so he had one of his employees ring us up. Shortly after, he treated his employee terribly, telling him to get back to work and leave our order to him. After sorting our finds, he begins to analyze tags closely, taking several minutes to figure out prices to give us, SPECIFICALLY TO US. Keep in mind the customers in front of us did not have to deal with all this dilemma, as Greg only counted and gave them their price. However, to us is was almost discriminatory. After finally finishing the invoice, he charged my partner $147 for 7 pieces, excluding a ripped up t-shirt he took out implying that it was $50. Then, after asking to view the invoice he was hesitant to show it to us, redoing his calculations and noticing he had errors. Overall, this experience was terrible because we overpaid and wasted 4 hours digging through piles of clothes only for him to pinpoint his own subjective prices. I do not recommend shopping at this location as it is very unorganized and inefficient when it comes to the customers experience. If I could give it 0 stars I would. I will never be visiting this...
