Went with my co-workers for lunch and from the start it was bad. I believe it was the owner who asked us to step outside for takeout because there was a person in front of us, then forgot about us to take the order. Which was a red flag but brushed it off and ordered anyway. Then my coworker noticed he overcharged, and said it was the system. He then asked to talk to her and told her the price changed a few months ago but expected her to accept the change when he was the one who gave us the previous menu with the old price. Which then gave her and my other coworker the difference. So, I then checked my receipt, and I saw I was overcharged as well. That's when he got worse with his attitude, telling me if I wanted my money back and the price was different. I was never aggressive towards him and did not like that I was going to be deceived by the overcharge. He was getting in a temper tantrum and my coworker stepped in and said that is not ok.
We stepped outside afterward to wait for our food, which he mentioned was a 15-minute wait. During the waiting time, he started yelling in the restaurant, which I know had to do with us. We waited longer than 15 minutes, and my coworker went inside, and our food was sitting at the entrance area. He started getting angry because she was telling him to accept responsibility and to be more respectful toward customers, then started putting his hand on her face, saying ok go. What we should've done is left and got a refund, which we all immediately regretted not doing. For the pricing and food we received, it is not worth it. Service was terrible, and the price deceived the customers, how many more have been deceived and never noticed, please check your receipts and menu prices. He gave us to menus and to wait outside until the customer before us was done ordering. He forgot about us after five minutes, and that's when we went in because he probably got busy. I would say right off the bat that he is unaccountable for his actions and has no sense of any customer service. After checking my receipt, I noticed the total was not the same as my fellow co-workers. I then asked him about the price total, and he advised, "His system is set up to a certain percentage to charge." Which I assumed he's price gouging from his response. After inquiring, he then started yelling at us because he did not give us the correct menu when we initially walked in because the prices were not updated to the current price since 6months ago on the to go menus he gave us when we first entered. I never felt so disrespected and unease because of an owners or managers error. He snatched the menus from us, yelled, and was flustered because we asked for our correct change back because that's not the price we were charged. I understand people have bad days, but to yell in your establishment over pricing that you did not update and gave information to us and we bring it to your attention is very unprofessional and disrespectful. Please know you will never get my business again over your error and not take accountability, nor will I ever recommend your establishment to my fellow co-workers or any individual. Walked in and was greeted very nice, looked at the place is was very clean and smelling good and seated right away which was great. Looked at the menu and everything looked delicious. Very nice server came and took our order and was on the way. Ordered a chicken teriyaki and a California crunch roll,got some water to drink. Didn't take long for our food to arrive and was looking and smelling great. We started to eat and was tasting OK I wouldn't say it was the best I had but it was just OK.
