The food is fantastic when done correctly but the customer service can be awful depending on who you get. For starters the app is broken and won’t let me order chicken anymore. The last time I ate here my order was wrong for both me and my girlfriend’s subs, wrong and missing ingredients. I was then forced to wait well over 15 minutes for a do over and got to watch people who came after me get their food and leave. When we finally got our food back I was politely blamed for not telling the sandwich maker correctly the first time, and unsurprisingly our food was wrong again. This guy gets our order wrong twice and double checks with us multiple times and blames us because he can’t seem to hear or remember anything correctly. There were no apologies or compensations. I’ve honestly had some really great food here and good service but this last experience was downright awful. Read moreMan, what can I say? I’m normally not a fan of “chain stores”. But Firehouse is different. I have fond memories of my first experience at the Traverse City location. I got a NY Steamer. I nervously handed the cashier my method of payment. He asked, “ would you like to round up to support our local first responders?” With no hesitation I screamed YES!! Perhaps to loud because the entire place was looking at me. But I didn’t care. Help our local hero’s with spare change? Take my money kind sir! Back to the food. I received my food at the end of the counter. a hot, juicy, thick loaf of steamed meat. My hands trembled with anticipation as a slowly unwrapped it. Taking my time to seduce this steamy meat treat. Just absolutely ridiculous that it's the same issue EVERY. SINGLE. TIME. I've had this problem enough to know that I will decline every order that is offered to me from your establishment. I prefer to work with businesses who actually care & truly strive to make their customers happy. Revamp your selection of evening time employees because let's face it, the ones you have now suck & give your business a horrible name.
