Sky Plaza IGA — Local services in Garrettsville

I've shopped there on and off for about 4 years now. This morning I stopped in to do a little shopping ,when I was finished I went to check out but the only register open was the express lane! So I noticed two or three cashiers standing there talking by the express register! So I went there to check out. When I walked up one of the cashiers tells me in a nasty tone" you can't be at this register with that many items"! "You have to go to register 3" ! So i walked my cart to register 3. Then a different cashier tells me that I shouldn't have been in the express lane and that's what theses registers are for!! So ,I tried to explain to her that I was sorry but the express lane was the only register open, and that register 3 was closed! She says in a nasty tone " thats because I'm not a cashier"! I'm never shopping...

An elderly handicapped friend went to this store to buy some beer for a card game tonight. He has a big gray beard, walks with a very prominent limp. The cashier carded him. (Now I buy beer there all the time, never carded). He said to the cashier are you really gonna make me walk to my car for my ID, that he is clearly over 21. She said yes. This cashier made a handicapped elderly man hobble out to his car to get his wallet. That was WRONG! And I wasn't gonna mention this.. but since my friend was wronged.. these people cut chicken breasts in half and call it 2 pieces. Never will I ever go...

two things...one is self evident, and thats the prices...just disgraceful and exploitive. enough . two...the meat is disgusting. just today I purchased 6 NY strip steaks to marinade and smoke. ....as I have done many times prior with steaks from other locations. However, these steaks smelled like sulfur (rotten eggs) and upon slow smoking at 220 degrees to 145 internal temp, they were tougher than shoe leather and tasted like spoiled meat. ...just awful....$44 for garbage meat. BTW just walk around and look at the prices for a good laugh. ....this...
