Skylane Bowling — Local services in Garrettsville

Had a surprise party there for a friend. Poured money into the bar paid to have 4 lanes for two hours. In that time, the staff was continually rude. I waited at the counter to get a pop and watched the staff member stand there on her phone for roughly 4-5 minutes before I got her attention. When asked simple questions, like where the restrooms were, the staff was rude and acted like we were stupid for not knowing. At the end of the two hours, we were only using one lane (some people had left our group) and we were on the last frame and the staff turned off all of our lanes and would not allow us to finish the last frame. So here’s the thing….I have so many great memories of this place. I used to go here all the time when I was a kid. Unfortunately, it’s not so much a pleasant experience anymore. I took my little brother here because he’s never been bowling. We walked in and we were the only two people there. We looked for someone that worked there. We found the guy in the back playing his little slot machine. I asked him if bowling was still available and he said yeah but only until 4:00. Take 1000 people - cram them in line for a queen of hearts drawing - explode the parking lot - and then expect the employees to bend over backwards when they are trying to maintain some civility... COME ON. Been here three times (once not even for the Queen) and its a LOCAL place. COZY - almost a throwback. I've been to other drawings for large amounts and I would rate the employees MUCH better than most places.
