UH Garrettsville Family Medicine — Local services in Garrettsville

Was seeing Sue Bohn for years and never got answers on anything. Seen her more then a couple times in a 4 month period and she always said I had some sort of virus. Till one day I was so sick I needed to be seen and ended up seeing the new Dr. at the time and she not only diagnosed me with mono she gave me another huge diagnosis and said I had had mono for so long I wasn’t even contagious any more. Recently my dad (a patient of Sue’s) got diagnosed with sleep apt from another Dr. and turns out he had had it for a couple years and its done damage on his heart and lungs. The doctor he had in the same office before Sue also didn’t catch it. Besides Dr. Bittence (which I don’t have much experience with) and Nurse Virginia this office is very disappointing. The front desk is very rude and short. Wouldn’t recommend this practice to anyone unless it’s your only choice. What's going on? Where are the Doctors and CNPs!?! After 30 years, I can not get an appt. I finally took one for a 6 week wait. I ended up going to urgent care to find out I am very anemic. They told me to go to my Dr. to get more tests. After 2 days of calling, I went there in person. I gave them my blood results and told the secretaries I needed help. They said no one is available but she would send my test results and they may be able to do a prescription from where ever they might be?? REALLY, it's been a week, and, NOTHING. WHAT IS GOING ON???? I scheduled an appointment with Sue Bonds, I got stuck on the road with no cell phone signal. I called as soon as I got a signal to let them know I couldn't make it. They sent me a nasty letter telling me that I was no longer welcome to make appointments signed by Sue Bonds. They said it was their policy that if a patient cancelled an appointment at the last minute they would not be permitted to make another appointment.
