I can’t say enough great things about Renzo Gracie Garwood. When I started, my 2nd child was not yet a year old. I was feeling down about the baby weight I had put on so I was looking to shed some pounds and find something my husband and I could join together. I was skeptical this would be the right fit for me because I had never done any type of martial arts in my life, I was in my mid thirties, I was terrified of meeting new people, and to top it off I am only 4’11”. It’s still hard today and can be a mental and emotional roller coaster, but it feels so rewarding at the same time. These people once strangers have grown to be a 2nd family to me. They supported me and helped me cope when my father was sick in the hospital. With each lesson and training session, everyone here is invested in my success and routing for me to do well. All that I have gained from this school far transcends just the moves I have learned. I have much more energy to play with my kids. I have this new language I get to share with my husband. in the last week BEFOREWARNED They will play a game with charging your Credit and Debit card. I signed up my son for classes as the came recommended by my chiro. On signing their so called contract the did tell me if we where to cancel we needed to notify them before the 18th of the month. Well on 7-11-17 they where told my son would not be returning after the billing cycle. I made sure he even went so far as to explain WHY he would not be returning. Low and behold I was charged $149 the next month. I tried to reach out to them but no response. My wife reached out to them later in the morning of the error. Well the stories started to change instantly. 1st We where never told. 2nd. The instructor did tell us 3rd We need to have a person over the age of 18 tell us. 4th. We need a certified letter explaining why you are cancelling. So here I go writing a review to a business that certainly does not know how to conduct business. I have filed a dispute with the bank.
