Roma Pizzeria — Restaurant in Garwood

I order a pie and calamari on Uber eats. After 45 minutes (when Uber eats said it was ready) my wife went to pick it up. When she told them the order name at the counter they scrambled looking for our ticket and apparently found it and told her 15 more minutes. They clearly never started our food. My wife asked several times if they had even started it because she had our son in the car and would rather go home and have me pick it up when it’s ready. After she asked several times and got ignored they finally told her they were really busy and it would be another ten mins. My wife came home and I went to pick up the food. Not to cause them more stress I walked in told them my order and they handed me my food. I got to my car and decided to look at the food and they gave me a pizza that is not only doughy but looks like it was just literally thrown in the box. After waiting an hour for our food, which was a pickup order I expected my food to be fresh and cooked to perfection. I was hoping for a hidden gem but the food just wasn't very good. On a positive it is a great value because the chicken Parm includes a salad and a generous side of pasta. They say house balsamic dressing but it's just non aged balsamic out of the bottle. No olive oil or seasonings. The chicken Parm itself was thin and cooked well but there was just not much flavor. The big problem with everything was that the sauce tasted like the can the tomatoes came out of. It wasn't cooked nearly long enough. The acidic aftertaste was so overwhelming. I would come back for pizza but I would skip...

This place used to be the best couple years ago I thought they moved and didn’t order since maybe 3 years I ordered today and unfortunately it was the worst pizza we ever ever ever had. It came barely cooked crust was all white we had to put it in the oven for a good 15 min and even then I don’t know what it was but the taste was horrible we had to throw it away for a large pie and fries 28$ is a joke .. I will never order there again there is so many better pizza place around town it’s a shame but very bad soggy I just can’t get over the taste it had never tasted...
