This will be long.. but worth the read, please don't spend your time or money here!!
I decided to give them a try, I went in on a friday at 12pm for a fill-in on my acrylic nails. I was told right away that I would have about a 10 minute wait, I waited 25 minutes, was seated at a booth and told he would be over after he finished a polish.. well 5 minute passed so I told the lady at the front that I was going to run get my drink out of my car. I was gone MAYBE one minute, I came back in to find another customer at the booth I had been sitting at. The lady from the front said "oh he waited and waited, he had to move on" so I wait 30 minutes but they couldn't wait ONE on me? I should have left then... I waited another 10 minutes and was sat at another booth, I showed the tech what I wanted done to my nails and she said "hold on" got up and went over to the owner I assume? came back a few minutes later and told me it would be $3 PER NAIL for the simple zig zag line I wanted! that is CRAZY! $3 per line.. I let her continue with the fill in while i was thinking of a new design. halfway through my fill-in three of my nails started burning, literally like they had a hot coal under them. It was making my eyes water it was so intense, and out of the hundreds of times I've had my nails done.. I've NEVER felt anything like that. I guess she noticed the pain in my face b/c she asked "is it burning?" and threw some rubbing alcohol on my finger nails then kept going. eventually she got to the polishing, so I told her just to do lines on two fingers instead of four. she did a good job on the actual painting and design but thats about the only decent thing. She asked if I wanted to go ahead and pay while I was waiting on my nails to dry, she said it would be $24. Not that that was a large amount but it didn't add up, so I asked why it was $24.. she tried to explain but barely spoke any english. so I was just like whatever, she then wrote $32 on a receipt. I said 'wait it's 24 right?" and she literally YELLED at me "YES!! YOURS $24, THIS IS NOT YOUR RECEIPT!" she took my card and walked off.. I didn't even know what to say, but the customer beside me said "I won't ever come back after she just did that" So i paid, my nails dried and I left.. VERY VERY UNHAPPY.
Once I got to work and cooled down, I realized that the price of $24 didn't add up and I had been over charged. So I called Ann's and this is where it gets even worse.. I asked to speak to the owner, she got on the phone and I began telling her what happened. Halfway through my story she loudly interrupted me "ARE YOU DONE TALKING? CAN I SPEAK OR ARE YOU JUST GOING TO KEEP TALKING?" WHATTTTTTTTT!!!! I said sure go ahead, I was about to lose my cool. She told me I would need to come in to let her see my nails and she would decide if I was over charged, the lady who did my nails and made them feel like they were on fire "made a mistake" and she half ass apologized for it.
I decided against my better judgement that it would not be a good idea for me to go back in there, forget the refund, it would have been ugly had I gone in there and had the OWNER OF A BUSINESS speak to me like that in person.
NEVER give these people your money, they are liars and rude. any owner who treats her customers like that...
Read moreI will no longer do business with Ann's nail. I have been getting my nails done here for 3 years now. Tammy has been doing my nails for 3 years. My last 7 points there, Tammy has been making me wait 30 to 40 mins every time after I call in a week ahead or sometimes the day before to make my appointment. She know that my appointment is scheduled for a certain time, but she go ahead and take a walk in and make me wait 30 or 40 mins. I called yesterday and scheduled my appointment for 1pm today. I received a call today 20 mins before my appointment asking me if I was still coming. I told her I was already on my way there which I was right up the street. I arrived for my apartment at 1pm and the girl told me to pick out my color so I did. The next thing I know, I am sitting there waiting for 8 minutes, but I don't see Tammy anywhere. Finally I asked the girl that checked me in and she said oh Tammy is on the other side of the room. She is doing someone else nails right now, she was waiting on you. I asked her, what do you mean that she was waiting on me? I said I got here at 1pm which is my appointment time. Then the girl said oh I meant she thought she would go ahead and do a polish change since it doesn't take that long. You would only have to wait a few minutes. I went and waited until 14 minutes and then Tammy came over to get started on me, so I thought. She sat me at her table asked me if I wanted something to drink and then said I have to go do someone's (eye brows). At this time it was already 20 mins past my appointment time, now she wanted me to wait another 15 mins why she go to do someone else eye brows who was a walk in. I got up and let the manager know that my last 7 points, Tammy has been making me wait 30 to 40 minutes past my appointment time every single time. I don't mind if I have to wait once or twice, but 7 appointments in a row is unexceptable. The manger said oh it's just eye brows it won't take her long. She can do your nails right after. I told him if this is the kind of service that I am going to keep receiving then I will take my business somewhere else. I have been a customer there for three years straight. I make my appointment every single time and show up for them, but receive this kind of customer service. I spend a lot of money on my nails to have to wait every single time 30 to 40 mins after my appointment time so Tammy can take walk in customer's who did not make an...
Read moreI went in for a fill in and i had michelle (I believe her name was) and I'm telling you she did an OUTSTANDING job on my nails and they turned out wonderful! She was super fast on the acrylic which was perfect and the gel polish 👌 I know some of the reviews make people hesitant to come and try them ( i was one of those hesitant) but from my experience being a new customer, I have had two great experiences so give it a try and see what you think! UPDATE: *☆☆☆☆☆☆ I went back in for a fill in after a month...amd I'm telling you even after a month my nails still looked amazing and not that grown out, none came off, and my polish was barely chipping on one finger and I'm in healthcare so i am rough on my nails.. i went back today and i was blown away with still how amazing my nails looked after. i had a man and i didn't catch his name but he was fantastic. the only thing I have negative to say is like with others that have reviewed the prices do seem to change from different visits. like I paid 35 for my last fill in with the fill and gel polish..then yesterday I was told it would be 40 which I didn't mind but they tell you the difference once your walking up to pay..so maybe if you could make sure to tell people that the price may vary based on length or etc....and your nail tech because I've had one person charge me one thing for a length and then my next fill which is maybe a tiny bit difference in length they charge me more but for the same service...so I can see how people may be upset when they go. I was charged 40 for a fill and gel polish...then i called back since i wasn't charged that much last time she then told me 17 for fill and 15 for gel and then said your looking at about 32 then she told me the price may vary based on length and shape I believe..so I'm guessing I paid the $8 more for my length that I wasnt charged for last time but my nails are not that long??? I dont want it to seem like I'm fussing over it cause I deff love going to Ann's but I can see how some may get upset esp if they only bring that certain amount and then it changes once they finish or the prices change from...
