Once again come here for a Uber eats order when I walk inside the employee informs me that someone else has already picked up the order without confirming it so they basically stole it. It’s 100% the restaurants responsibility to make sure delivery drivers are confirming the order just another reason to avoid this place and not come here for our Uber eats I would not even pay to eat here.

On top of the food and prices being trash. You can’t get nothing done at the to go counter. People just standing there for almost 10 minutes and no one else is able to get help. Trash system. I’m done doing Uber Eats from this location. I skipped by everyone because they wasn’t doing anything and asked for my order. Employee said “I don’t work this area sorry” stale mate to go line and no one to help you. Sad thing is my Uber Order was probably ready.

Food is a little overpriced, portions were not that big. The ribs however were really good, and the sauce provided at the table was amazing. Their biggest downfall is probably having to place your order on the spot at the front desk. This slow down the process and they get backed up easily. The food was good enough for another try IMO.

Also I have Door Dashed here a few times and there’s always a long wait past the pickup time. One time I got a order for Michael R and they gave me a Michael C and the customer had to get a refund for having the wrong food. Another time I had to cancel a order because the wait time was going on 20 minutes past what it’s was suppose to be. I understand lack of employment and I’m not being picky in just sharing my experience here. Not the best place to get Dashes from unless it’s...

This has been my fav restaurant when I visit my hometown for a few years. Went there yesterday with my family and an employee used the bathroom and left out of there without washing her hands and when I went outside of the bathroom, I saw she of all people was playing food! I told the manager and he made light of it. Having a weak stomach, I went back to the bathroom and threw up my meal. I asked the waitress for a manager and she was rude, then the manager sent over was horribly rude saying I’m not doing anything about it because you ate your meals then said he’d take off the drinks when we had waters!!!! I asked for the general managers number since they make light of faulty hygiene in a person touching food. He said he’s here and the man I initially talked to came over and this man talked to me so nasty and was hostile and verbally attacking me like I had done something saying I can’t prove she didn’t wash her hands or that I threw up so he wasn’t going to do anything. After shouting at me, my daughter scolded him for how inappropriate he was and he said forget it I’ll take care of it and he stormed off huffing and puffing. My friend went to ask how much the bill was so we could tip our initial waitress who was sweet and she said he went off on her again for that saying people just try to get free food! This man needs a class on customer service skills AND anger management. We all left saying we will never go back to this place after being verbally beaten up for expecting proper hygiene precautions of employees at a...

Essentially the service was great and our server was very nice. Food was amazing and everything was fresh. I honestly may see if I could buy a pan of the sweet potato casserole for Thanksgiving it was that good to me. The only reason why the 3/5 star rating versus 5/5 is the bartender service. So Frank the bartender at the time of being there (bald, gloomy guy with glasses). My fiance Orders a Gummy Bear...that being said he proceeds to make it. The bar isn't busy but then we notice he makes the drink and leaves it to the opposite side of the bar. Mind you we are sitting right where you enter so we have a full view of the bar. So he does this and doesn't tell our waitress the drink is ready...it sits there for a few minutes and my fiance asks if her drink is ready. Again the bar isn't busy, our waitress asks and he essentially has her walk around the circle versus just handing it to her. We get the drink and my fiance notices there's no Gummy Bears (hence the name being Gummy Bear for the drink) and she gets the waitresses attention and asks where are the Gummy Bears. Our waitress says they are out and that the bartender didn't let her know this when she first order because if your out of something I expect you to mention it just in case we want to go with a different option. My fiance wanted the drink for the Gummy Bears...overall with Franks service is why it was upsetting for my fiance (yes I know it's just Gummy Bears but its our 5 year anniversary and you want things to be perfect sorry not...

First, I have to mention that during my recent visit, there was a roof leak that dripped down at my booth. It was a slow drip, but it seems there are a few leaks in the roof. I am adding additional info for a different meal. Another meal ti's time Burnt Ends baked beans and Greens as usual, meets my overall rating Despite this, the food was fantastic as always! The Wet Pork Ribs and Sausage were absolutely awesome, bursting with flavor and perfectly cooked. The Sweet Potato Casserole is always a hit, providing that comforting, sweet touch. The Jalapeño Creamed Corn was another standout, with just the right amount of heat and creaminess. And of course, the Baked Beans remain my go-to side, consistently delicious and satisfying. Highly recommend! I've eaten at three of the five locations, here, Salisbury and the Original location in Concord. They are all great; and I've had every meat and many different sides. This trip I had their Stock Market sandwich on a bun; pulled pork, Brisket, Sausage, Jalapeño, and their sweet sauce. I ate it this way since it is as my first time with it. About halfway through I added some of the Lexington Dip. I had the BBQ beans, one of my favorite sides. The Stock Market is one big meal; enough food for two even. It's a great sandwich and I suggest giving it try!

BBQ joints in the south... First time at The Smoke Pit, and overall, good reviews. Myself and a couple of co-workers sat at the bar for dinner tonight. Very nice place and atmosphere, clean floors and bartop. Geena at the hostess desk greeted us well and led us to the bar. I ordered a Yuengling on draft while the food was being prepared. Frank at the bar was quick, and we didn't need to ask for a second beer. Excellent menu layout with plenty of options. I decided on the 2 meat combo plate with brisket and ribs. This included sides of mac-n-cheese, smoked beans, fried okra, and hush puppies. When the plate was presented, I knew I'd need a take home box. The brisket I had was absolutely some of the best I've ever had, and the ribs are served as single bones. They were also very well done, as in very tasty. I sampled all of their sauce options, and I approve of the Sizz sauce, which is a bit on the spicy side. The okra was perfectly fried, mac-n-cheese was ok, but better with some sauce, and the smoked beans were excellent. The hush puppies are great also. I took home plenty for a midnight snack. I'll be visiting this place again. I took a few pictures as I told Frank and Geena that I only do 5 star reviews when the experience warrants my time to do so. The Smoke Pit is..... Maloy Approved.

The layout and appearance of the restaurant is very appealing and inviting. It's a very laid back, modern rustic vibe, with colorful animal paintings all over the walls. You order and then seat yourself, as everything else is self serve. They give you a number and the waiters bring your food to your table. All the staff is very friendly! The menu is versatile and has everything from smoked meat to tacos to chicken sandwiches. It's your basic southern BBQ joint with a hint of tex-mex. Initial view of the food when they brought it out was great! It looks very appetizing, my mouth was salivating. I ordered the Memphis Pulled Pork Sandwich. For a sandwhich there was meat PILED HIGH. Don't get me wrong I love the amount of food for the price, but I was a little upset there was no way I'd be able to even eat it like a sandwhich, let alone fit my mouth around it. The pork was very tasty and the slaw too. The mac and cheese tasted homemade as well. The only other thing that was disappointing was my food was hardly warm when it arrived. I think this place is great, and if you're a BBQ lover, I recommend stopping in. But I gave it a 3 star rating because I have tasted better. I would most certainly return though! Great place for a casual meal.
