The Gift Box — Local services in Geneva Township

Stopped in here today after deciding to take an impromptu day trip along the Fox River. The woman who helped us (I am terrible with names so do not remember hers) was delightful and the selection inside the shop was great!

I was able to get some of my favorite lingonberry jam and a neat cookbook to make dishes at home. This shop has two floors and a really neat section below with some cute mugs.

I've always loved this Geneva gem for its selection of Scandinavian home goods and gifts. Although it looks like a small store it's actually very large! Recently, I was blown away by their customer service when I was in the store looking at a dala horse and mentioned to my mom that I wished it came in cream and gold—the sales associate overheard and offered to have one custom made for me by the artisan in Sweden... at no extra charge! As a OG Swede of Geneva this shop has been a part of our family for generations. Lennart sold me my first Swiss army knife (with my parents permission) when I turned 10 and then replaced countless lost tweezers and toothpicks for little or no charge for years.
