I went here based on the reviews and was hoping for the same experiences as the Google reviewers however, I was very disappointed with my experience. The beer selection was great. They have a wonderful selection of craft beers and have many ciders that I have never had and want to try. The wait staff was very friendly and attentive. This is the only reason I am giving two stars.

Where GAH fell short with me was their food. My date and I ordered the cheese curds as an app and they would have been much better had they come out hot. For our main courses, I ordered the minis (korean bbq, pulled pork, and the filet) and chips and my date ordered the jalepeno stuffed burger. My meal came out luke warm and the pretzle buns were burnt. I can handle a little brown, but these babies were burnt to a crisp to where I could only eae the meat and left the buns. The korean bbq meat was also burnt. My date said his was sub-par...nothing bad; nothing good.

I was pretty disappointed since the reviews of GAH are so positive. If I was in the area, I would maybe give it another chance but wouldn't make a special trip out...

Had a horrible experience at Geneva Ale House. I went on a Friday night with my family and the service was not got at all. First I asked about the special on beer were and the waitress had no idea what it was and wether they had cans or bottles.

We then ordered an appetizer (Door County cheese curds) and they came out with our meal. When we brought it up to what looked like to be the manager instead of apologizing she said “would you like me to take them back?

I order the loaded steak sandwich for my meal and they first brought me the weirdest looking sandwich on regular toast. When I mentioned it they said sorry I think we brought the wrong one out. They then brought me another sandwich that was missing a lot of the items on the menu. The menu said it was ribeye with thinly slice fried potatoes and provolone cheese on a toasted onion bread. It did not come that way it’s like they made up a sandwich with the ingredients they had hoping I wouldn’t notice.

To say the least I will never be back to this establishment I was very disappointed as the reviews online...

We ordered take out from the Ale House for Mother's Day dinner and what a disappointment. We spent over $120 thinking it would be a nice treat. I would never order take out from them again but have never been disappointed eating in. We ordered the mini sandwiches and mixed the filet and burgers. I am not lying when I say the burgers were the size of a quarter and it was mostly pretzel bun. It was terrible. The filet was good though. The mushroom chips were burnt and mostly crumbs, I did love the onion straws but there weren't many in the order - not like when you eat in. My son ordered sides on his black bean burger and we paid for them but did not get them. They forgot a side for my daughter's pork belly tacos and my husband's fish tacos were just ok. We picked up our food on time and it was so cold. IF we hadn't spent so much money on this, I would not write a review but it definitely was not worth it. Very disappointed. DO NOT ORDER TAKE OUT - EAT...

First time visit this evening and we really enjoyed it. Place is on the smaller side, about a dozen tables and a bar. All beers are craft beer, they had no stout so I got a Pilsner and it was good. Had Wisconsin battered cheese curds for an appetizer and they were delicious. My wife and I ordered the BBQ pulled pork sandwich and theAle House Burger. Ale house burger comes with an egg on it. When served we cut the sandwiches in half, so we could try each of them. Both sandwiches were delicious. The fries were soft, not crispy, but good. Nice place, friendly server, great food and reasonable prices, what’s not to like. We will be back.

While in town calling Kansas City Monarchs game against Kane County found this place with a kitchen open until midnight 7 days a week. It is not just any kitchen this place was great with huge servings. We went back a second night. Recommend peach Sriracha wings and the grilled cheese cheese burger was wow! Onion rings too! My moms chicken salad was huge with plenty of chicken. Most places are light on the protien. Not here. Great bar with tons of beers and great cocktails.

The first impression upon entering is that it's very unique. Comfy looking inside and welcoming atmosphere. The drinks and appetizers were fantastic! We had mushroom chips, they were done perfectly. My husband had the grilled cheese cheeseburger and from his reaction I could tell it was wonderful. I however had the fish tacos and they were fantastic. I'm not sure what the fish was marinated in but it was off the charts. Will definitely come again.
