Furniture & Mattress Outlet — Local services in Germantown

Extremely pleased with the experience at the Furniture & Mattress Outlet. My boyfriend and I recently moved to Germantown, just a short distance away from the Furniture & Mattress Outlet. We had no furniture at this point and googled searched furniture stores nearby and this outlet showed up right away . We decided to give it a try and it was not disappointed!! We were greeted right away with a friendly welcome. The staff was such a pleasure and extremely helpful. They gave us great suggestions and answered all of our questions thoroughly. The store has a wide variety of furniture, ranging from kitchen tables, china cabinets, coffee and end tables, beds, mattresses, a large collection of unique couches, decorative pieces, lamps, area rugs, etc... And everything at a reasonable and affordable price. Whatever piece you like, it is available in different colors online that they will order for you in the store. As far as the delivery service goes, we were also very pleased with the professionalism and fast delivery. The crew delivers within two weeks (usually less than), they will get your purchases in the house, and then set it up for you wherever and however you would like. My husband and I purchased a sectional sofa here in the summer of 2019. We selected this place because of the positive reviews, the owner was great to work with and they delivered right away. I’m leaving a 1 star review because the quality is atrocious. I purchased a second sectional from Macy’s during one of their sales (the 6 piece Radley in cream) a month after purchasing from here for about $400 less and the quality is far superior (the Radley still looks and feels new and both sectionals are used equally). I wanted to be a fan of this place because the owner was great, but my sectional is fraying in many areas (this started almost immediately after delivery), the attached couch cushions are ripping apart from the back, the wood frame is felt through the cushioning, the bottom is sinking, and it looks lumpy and old after only a year and a half. Very disappointing.

EDIT- I reached out to the owner per their comment on here and nothing came of it. Friendly service but the quality of the products is disappointing, $2500+ spent on a sectional that we ended up throwing away...

Listen... the owner Freddy, NOT the friendliest/true gentleman/great man/the best/very fair everyone said he is.

How can these people talk about Freddy is a nice guy when he doesn't care about the Germantown community. He and his family don't care about our communities. Freddy has no compassion.

There are condos, townhouses, and single family houses across 12401 Middlebrook road, some of the people that live in those homes are unemployed and they could be employed at the Furniture & Mattress Outlet, but that will never happen because Freddy is FAMILY OPERATED!!!!
