Cozy Claw Arcade — Local services in Gilbert

This is a nice, CLEAN place and a fun economical alternative to Round 1 or Tilt.

To explain the concept of this place, all the games are crane based and only cost 1 token/$1 with options to get bonus tokens. Some of the plushies are licensed while others are a little funny/sus. They are honest about this (assuming you even care) if you ask about it. You can also trade in your smaller plushies for bigger ones at the counter.

Chances of winning a plush here are significantly higher than aforementioned places. There are also some tricks you can use learn to increase your chances without relying on payout. I usually average at about 1/3rd win ratio, with nearly 1/2 on a good day and 1/4th on a bad day. If you are unfamiliar with these types of games, I would expect a 1/5th ratio or about 2 prizes for $10 starting out.

There are quite a few places like this in Vegas, so it is nice to finally have something like this here.

In comparison to say Round 1; I love R1, it's a beautiful arcade and the prizes overall beat out every other place.. but you have to PAY (a lot!) to go there. There is also no guarantee you will even win anything even if you spend $20+ on the same claw machine.

With this place you will at least walk out with SOMETHING.

Then you have Tilt which has some of the same prizes, worse win rates and is just filthy with broken machines.

So it's nice to have a clean place like this that isn't embarrassing to bring a friend or the family to nor does it ask...

I have waited a year to finally go to this place! Because they don't open until 4:00pm, we went to Claw Haus first. That place was cramped, had dumpier prizes, and was WAY TOO expensive.

Cozy Claw, on the other hand, was exactly what it looks like! It's spacious, and clean, with so much variety, and quality plushies! Their pricing is fair, and the machines were not rigged to cause you to lose (like most other places). We had so much fun that I will definitely drive an hour to get here. I must say, because you don't feel like you're being cheated, you end up spending much more money than you probably anticipated. It's a very smart move on the owner's part, and I hope that never changes. I know people will think that the plushies aren't worth what you ultimately pay, but for us, the game aspect makes it all so much fun, and part of the overall experience. Cozy Claw has done what most of these places have missed. They don't cheat you, you get a quality product, they change out inventory frequently, and you can trade in smaller stuffies for larger ones. It's a genius set-up.

OH! Also - the staff regularly comes around and "fluffs" the plushies in the machines, so you have a chance to get ones that might have been buried 10minutes before. This place is amazing! I want to start off my review by saying that the local community really should support this business! Everyone who works there was so nice to me when I went in the other night. Usually I try not to go places too close to close out of courtesy but they were really nice about letting me come check it out with my friend! I even had an opportunity to talk with one of the managers or maybe owners as they were closing and he was a really nice guy and so genuine.

This is a super fun and affordable activity, you get like 20 tokens for 20$ and the claw machines that I saw only take one token and you have a decent chance of winning prices! It’s not like the machine at Dennys where you have to be a claw machine master. It’s not like so easy you get a prize no matter what but it’s absolutely doable. I saw some little kids getting prizes too!

i even got to switch out a prize for a different design I liked and I thought that was incredibly awesome and nice of them to do.

I plan to go back since they said they swap out the prizes pretty often and I had a lot of fun. It’s pretty inside to take selfies and also there’s this adorable wall of plushies which is a fun photo op! Hopefully if they get more business they could have extended hours on the weekend or something that...
