Gave this place a chance based off the reviews and it ended up being the worst restaurant I have ever been to. They have no host, so when we got there it was a 5 minute wait for them to tell us it would be another 15 and that wait was just so they could clear off a table. The gentleman clearing tables and bringing out food was literally dripping sweat on to tables he was clearing and his T-shirt was drenched in sweat. We tried to be understanding and still stayed. After we were sat at our table it took another 5-10 minutes to have someone bring us menu’s. In that time two other tables were sat and received menus before us. Those two tables had skipped the people who came in before them and the people who were skipped ended up clearing off a table to sit themselves. Another customer ended up having to clear off a table in order to seat themselves as well. Our food came out about 40 minutes after we ordered, after having 2 tables that came in after us get their food first. Both of our plates were barely lukewarm. I ordered an omelette which came out as a scramble with barely any potatoes. We ended up not even staying to eat but rather took our food to go in order to heat it up. The food ended up having no flavor. We were trying to be understanding due to COVID-19 and the affects on the food industry but too many things went wrong one our first visit. Unfortunately we will not be giving this place another chance.

4/12/25: Short version - it was most definitely not the worst place we have eaten, but it most definitely could have been better. Longer version - The strawberry lemonade tasted like Kool-Aid, with a strawberry or two tossed in; the hazelnut banana crepe had too much Nutella on it for such a thin crepe, plus the crepe was thin, which means it had some crispy parts. Crepes are not supposed to be crispy. My sister's tropical French toast was described as having "cream cheese & mango stuffed..." Neither of us tasted much of the cream cheese, it was more some ooey, gooey, sugary knock-off that did not taste well at all. Usually we are pretty good about eating our leftovers, but I notice the other half of this remains in the fridge ... will likely make it into our compost bin. There was no sign upon walking in (do we wait to be seated or seat ourselves?) so we just walked in & sat. There were a few tables that needed desperate bussing, the decor was decent. It's not a large place, chairs were uncomfortable, but there is plenty of parking. Our server, Perla, was fairly quick so kudos to her, and to the chefs for getting everything made so quickly. But despite this, still probably won't have a return visit, not with so many other superb options for crepes.

This is a good breakfast restaurant that is comparable to others and is a nice option if you are in the neighborhood. I wouldn’t necessarily drive across town to dine here though. Vibe: Clean, but standard with “vanilla” personality. Our waitress was great, she had good energy and was conscientious enough to ask if the music was too loud since we were right by the speaker. The volume was fine, but it was awesome she even thought to ask. Food Highlights: * Tropical Crepes: We really enjoyed these. The crepe was light, and the cream cheese filling wasn’t too sweet. I also really appreciate that they use fresh fruit instead of canned. I love that it didn’t feel like we were eating dessert for breakfast! * Hatch Green Chili Pork Skillet: This dish was good, but not amazing. I always have high expectations for green chili pork dishes, and I’ve had others that were more flavorful. The dish was still good, however when we come back I will probably explore other menu options. Overall it is a great little neighborhood place that is fairly new. It is a solid breakfast option, and with a few little tweaks and more personality could easily get to 5 stars!

At their ithe location: It is worrisome that this place has the high rating that it does. My 18 year old ordered the hatch green chili burrito and spent 30 minutes in the bathroom at the restaurant throwing up and suffering from upset at the other end as well. We let the server know and it did not faze her. His food was cold. My husband had the meat lovers morning and could not eat the pale cold ham on his plate. Again, we told our server, she said sorry. My 13 year old ordered the meat lovers skillet and the big chunks of potatoes in it were cold and hard. My 8 year old ordered the hazelnut banana crepes with scrambled eggs and bacon. The crepes were the only good food item but still, COLD!!!!! We told our server but still received a bill for full price. Five people, $67 bucks and a $6 tip to not be an a** and we will never ever go back! The scrambled eggs were like powdered eggs and loads of salt had to be put on them for flavor as there was none. I ordered the California benedict with hashbrowns. I've never had such a watered down hollandaise in my life, not to mention my food was cold. There was two small bites of hashbrowns on my plate as the portions are extremely small. We tried to figure out the concept with the yellow walls, Walmart wall art, red booths and cheap dishware but it is still confusing as to why this place is called the "Crowned Egg." The food is novice, cold and very small portions on each plate. The service is good but they do not care that the food makes someone ill on site. Lastly, you cannot imagine the ride home with son hanging his head out the truck window and the background noise of...

This is absolutely the BEST breakfast place in Chandler. We love to try new places. A month ago we found Crowned Egg. We haven’t been anywhere else since. This is a family owned business that treats you like part of the family. The food is made fresh and is delicious.

The coffee is freshly ground when it is brewed. Carlos makes the Cold Brew himself. It is smooth with a slight whisky barrel flavor.

Huevos Rancheros with chorizo is incredible. They fry the corn tortillas. The chorizo the use is flavorful, well cooked and no gristle. The best chorizo I’ve had at a restaurant.

Thei omelets are delicious with all fresh ingredients. There is no grease on your plate from the omelette. They use red potatoes for the breakfast potatoes. The potatoes are tender and crispy.

The waffles are delicious as well as the pancakes. The pancakes are a little sweet as if the add a little sweet cream to the batter.

If you want something off of the lunch menu, the chicken sandwich is tasty. A chicken breast batteries In flavor. You can see and taste the spices. We chose the chipotle Mayo on the sandwich. My kids finished them completely.

You will love something, if not EVERYTHING on the menu. If you stop in, ask for Carlos to serve you. He makes great suggestions and is...
