This review is so long overdue, but definitely earned. Designer Blvd. took my boring, bland, no personality tract home and turned it into FABULOUS! Like many others, we had a home built from the ground up with a builder, but were not allowed to pick the design finishes. We loved our floor plan, large lot, huge garage and neighborhood, but knew from the beginning that we would hire a designer for all the custom projects, furniture and design details. I interviewed several design companies before deciding on Designer Blvd. I instantly felt at ease with them, their personalities and gorgeous designs. In particular, Chelsea is a gem to work with and overall, just a wonderful human. She took the time to learn about my personal style, vision and infused that into each room in our home. We took our time (on purpose) to ensure every last detail was thought out and executed with care to bring together a cohesive, stunning and beautiful home. We are so happy with the end result and our house truly feels like a home now that we love and never want to leave. We get so many compliments and everyone that sees our home is amazed. It doesn't even look like the same home! I am beyond a picky, OCD person that questions everything over and over. Chelsea never became impatient with me and always cheerfully helped me, answering my messages and calls early in the morning and late into the night. To say, she went above and beyond for us, is an understatement. I consider her a good friend now. I love this store! They have the cutest clothes and great customer service. I came in initially to buy a gift for a friend and fell in love with all of their home décor! I was a little hesitant hiring a designer because 1) I had a budget and 2) I had my own ideas about what I wanted. I didn’t want a style that didn’t fit my or my family’s personality or needs. Carol and Mia were over the top amazing! They showed me how to get the most for my money but still have pieces that were WOW and they worked with furniture that I already had and wanted to keep. They went above and beyond accommodating my schedule (with a new baby at the time) and added every extra touch I imagined. They understood that I wanted my home to be not only amazing but functional and family friendly. They created an absolutely beautiful space that we loved! We ended up listing our house one year later and because it looked like a model home, (thanks to the amazing design team at Designer Blvd), it sold within three days. I have since had them decorate my new home and I am equally impressed. My downstairs was was ready for an overhaul. Carol and Chelsie came out to my house for a consultation and I loved what they came up with for my house! They were very patient with me. They were responsive to all of my requests and did an AMAZING JOB! All of their furniture and decor is classic with some fun flair. My husband didn't think we "needed" anything but even he is amazed at how wonderful our house looks. We purchased furniture from them--that was actually IN STOCK, they helped pick out wallpaper and the best part was when they showed up and worked their magic by placing all the decor. My neighbor said my house looks like it is out of magazine right now. I highly recommend the design services in here. The store is amazing and beautiful filled with all sorts of magic but I have no idea where to put any of that stuff in my house so they helped me. When they came out for the initial consultation I told them my goal was for my house to look like their store and now when you walk in to my house it does! Chelsie is great to work with!
