Mugsy Dogs - Gilbert — Restaurant in Gilbert

Yesterday my kids were really excited to try a place up the road. I regret it now. We spent $60 on our meal (including a tip that they definitely didn't earn). We ordered our food and then sat in the parking lot 45 MINUTES after they said it would be ready. We watched them fill orders of other people who walked in wayyy after we did. They are clear on their site that they will bring it to your car, so after 2 times of going in to check where our order was, I decided to wait. Once it got to 45 Minutes I walked in and saw my order sitting on the counter, undelivered to my car (which was directly in front of the door) for long enough to be cold. Way to earn that tip guys.

I was annoyed but brought home our food, which was burnt so badly that none of us could eat it-- and my kids will eat almost anything.

I called today to speak to a manager. I figured that this is what happens when teenagers are cooking your food, but a manager would make it right. Nope, the only way to speak to a manager is to leave a message in a full mailbox. It is pretty clear that that was a message of "we dont want to hear it." My family feels robbed and insulted by this incredibly...

I hadn't been in Queen Creek in so many years and when I saw Mugsy dogs I thought why not... The clean open family-friendly store looked inviting, and they had a wide range of menu options. My boyfriend and I ordered the waffle dog, hot dog with a waffle around it... Who could not enjoy that! And the Knack and dogs, chop hotdogs on a flat top with mac and cheese. Who doesn't love mac and cheese? Unfortunately the food was not the best. Only thing saving the mac and dogs was the hot dog, the macaroni and cheese tasted Bland and kind of had a gritty feel on my tongue... The waffle wrapped hot dog tasted average. Tried it with mustard as well as with pancake syrup and it was okay... Only reason why it's getting 3 stars and not less is because it was very clean and the customer service was excellent. Maybe I caught them on an off night? Maybe they're really good? Unfortunately, based upon our one visit, and are gastrointestinal issues after eating there... I can confidently say my boyfriend and I will not be coming back to...

I read a few reviews before going about the pricing and comparing it to Costco got dogs. First off its a locally owned business; one Star. The staff was and is always friendly as I've been back 4 times in the last 2 months; two Stars. Dining area, yet small with plenty of patio seating, is always clean; three Stars. Pricing is comparable to other chains such as Five Guys and Burgerfi with just as good of quality ingredients if not better; four Stars. The taste...and reason why I'm currently doing something I never do! Write a review. The burgers, my personal favorite paired with Mac N Dogs for a hefty dinner plate for $10 has amazing flavor. The hot dogs are truly the best dogs I've ever ate, forget portillo's and Ted's, these are superb; five Stars. I really want people to get away from eating chain restaurants as I'm a manager myself. This is did you can trust and money that is put into it neighbors hands not a corporation. And it's makes it all the better knowing the food, experience, and service is...
