I have been getting my nails done here for a couple of months. I have gone to almost every tech in the shop, and for the most part have been very pleased with the results. The last time I went in they were very busy and were rushing. I was asked to go with another tech named Helen to get my nails soaked off, and was told Iād go with my tech after. I was hesitant but said ok and I DEEPLY regretted that choice. We started with the soak off as normal. You could very obviously see Helen getting impatient waiting for the nails to finish dissolving, and instead of waiting for the nails to be completely soaked off she decided to shove a nail UNDER my acrylic attempting to pop it off. Which is NEVER ok as it severely damages nails. Guess what! I now have VERY damaged nails. I had to remove several nails at home because my fingers were burning up and pulsing. Come to find out Helen cracked two of my actual nails attempting to pop them off, and still allowed acrylic to be placed on the nail. I did not realize she has split my nails but I knew I was hurting. I now have a severely infected nail. And blood blisters under three nails. I ripped my hands back and didnāt allow her to continue ripping my nail off. She then decided to bad mouth me to the tech next to us thinking I wouldnāt know because she wasnāt speaking English. Well I did. Popping off nails is the #1 sign of a chop shop, and to further that suspicion NO ONE actually looks like the person in the picture⦠odd huh! I am extremely disappointed with the service I received, and I will NEVER come back. Which is a bummer for them because I drop at least 100+ monthly at their shop. Helen needs to learn what is appropriate and not because thanks to her my nails are so damaged I canāt even get polish to stick to them. I will be filing a report with the state board of cosmetology, and will be filing an additional report with the local health department. Their tools are dirty and full of nail dust, I will bet that they use MMA because it dissolves as such, and they rush you in and out. Hope it was worth cutting off...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI found this salon on social media. Iād give a 5 star to their marketing team because they make this salon look/seem 10x better than it actually is. I booked an appointment online and selected Lynn to be my nail tech. Despite all of the negative reviews, I thought Iād give them the benefit of the doubt considering they have about 12k followers on instagram. Again, props to the marketing team. I booked my appointment for 11:00 with Lynn for a full set + design and a pedicure. When I was seated for my pedicure a woman started my service who was NOT Lynn. She didnāt have a name tag on and never told me her name, all I know is she had long gray/blonde hair. She asked what I wanted and I showed her an inspo photo (light pinky nude with small flowers) she looked at the photo and started to laugh, then said something to her coworker next to her (Tammy) and they both started laughing. That instantly made me feel uncomfortable. My tech got up and walked away, then when she came back I told her again what I was looking for, she kept shaking her head and rolling her eyes. She proceeded to ask me if I wanted white or clear and I said I wanted the nude pink color in the photo, she said that it was an ugly color but āitās whatever you want I guessā. She seemed frustrated the whole time and was so rude and made me feel very uncomfortable, so I decided to leave and not get my services done at QT. I would never recommend this place to anyone. 1st experience: Scheduled an appointment online for a polish color change on my toes only. I arrived and was sat at one of the manicure stations which confused me because I booked a polish color change on my toes only. I told my nail tech this and she didn't understand me so she asked the tech next to her and I told her that I'm only here for a polish change on my toes. They both looked very confused. I gave up trying to explain so I said okay I'll do a manicure too.
Laura did my manicure. I got gel polish with French tips. I would rate my manicure a 5/10.
I finally got my polish color change on my toes and I would rate that a 9/10. The tech who did my toes paid close attention to detail. Had a friendly personality and made my experience better.
2nd experience: Booked an appointment by calling in. This time I wanted to give their manicure another try.
Kelly did my gel manicure, one solid color, no designs and I would rate my manicure a 4/10.
Immediately I could tell Kelly was distracted. She was gossiping with the tech next to her the whole time. Kept staring up at the receptionist and gossiping. She was literally filing my nails without looking! She was so busy watching the front door or receptionist or something behind me. Within 2 days my nails were lifting (see photos). I'm disappointed I gave this nail salon another try and the second time it was worse. I...
