While I love Michael’s stores, the experience I just had a the Gilford, NH store made me never want to go back! A young associate was helping me with a gift card issue. Took a bit to figure it out, but I was in no rush. Her boss came up and was so short and had zero patience with her. I said hey big deal, she is just learning it! Her boss said it’s not a learning problem. I asked the manager if this is how she generally talks about her employees to them about them in front of customers. The manager had such attitude with me and said she needs the register. Im a customer as well and I’m at the register. Read moreI won't shop at this store again. The employees do nothing but sit around and craft. When you ask them for help finding something, they basically tell you to go find it yourself. I was there a couple of months ago. A lot of sections were completely bare. There was only me and one other couple in the store. When I got to the register, there was an employee standing a few feet away just watching the empty registers. She told me to check myself out. Since she was just standing around, I asked her to check me out and she was very put out. She did not want to help me. Then they were no cashiers so I had to check myself out.
