After the great post-Amazon bookshop shake-out, the Cottage remains stalwart as one of my favorites anywhere. Not because it has everything (though they can order it fast) - that would be absurd! But because it is the most beautifully curated small bookshop I know. A careful selection of the best recent fiction and nonfiction, a wonderful and comprehensive local interest section, a riot of wonderful children's books, and some lovely cookbooks and other specialty items.
