I went today so my teen can get a few items considering it was her birthday weekend and we left with a sour taste in our mouths. If I could give 0 stars I would! These entitled girls working in this place are so damn rude. They look like god forbid you ask a question. The cashier scans the items, but nothing is showing up on the screen and I’m sorry I LIKE TO SEE WHAT IM PAYING AND THAT YOUR NOT OVER CHARGING ME so, I’m asking her why it’s so much? how much was this item and I’m looking at the things and ok I must have not counted in my head correctly, it happens, but the ATTITUDE and the look😳 then the 2nd girl from the other register steps in and asks is their a problem with the price? I say yes I can’t see what she is charging me on the screen and she says oh the register doesn’t work with a black face. OKAY… Then she tells me the prices of the items and that’s fine, I pay. This chick gives me the receipt turns around and not even a thank you nothing. like I’m not even there. I tell them THANK YOU then they responded thank you. WOW JUST WOW This is a reason why many places lose customers because of people like this if you can’t work in Customer Service don’t do it. Why hire people like this? The reviews are true this place...

If I could give 0 stars I would. Came in on Saturday night at 6:45 to sell some clothes. I was told the wait would be 45 minutes to an hour. As I'm walking around the store one of the employees yells WE CLOSE IN 30 MINUTES, even though it wasn't even close to 7:30. I found a sweater I wanted to buy and as I'm purchasing it they tell me they won't be able to go thru my clothes and ill have to come back. At this point its only 7:30 and 4 people are working. So I said fine ill come back the next day and was told it would be ready. My boyfriend went in after I did to make sure it would be ready, meanwhile all 4 girls are sitting around not doing anything. I'm sorry but the sign says you don't close till 8. I literally just went in after all this and they didn't even bother to buy 1 thing. I'm not sure if it was pettiness, unprofessionalism, or a lack of respect for their job but it was the worst customer service I've ever experienced. Don't waste your time. They're imbeciles.

UPDATE: Emailed Platos Closet Chicagoland after their response and got nothing in return. Not surprised though they don't value their customers or exhibiting good...

Staff is extremely rude. They have no customer service with a lot of attitude. I had a distasteful encounter with one of the girls who was very rude and unprofessional when asking about selling clothes, considering it was my first time and I needed some guidance. Then, as I’m checking out I handed my ID over to her IN her hand and she proceeded to toss my ID on the counter in a very hostile manner instead of handing it to me in my hand.They look at you crazy if you ask for help or as if you were bothering them from their personal conversations. I was waiting for them to open a fitting room and they were all just talking in a corner(keep in mind the store is literally empty they’re not busy at all) and as soon as I asked for a fitting room they all just stared me down like I was interrupting them. There could be nice staff around but very rare. Shopping here just has very off putting vibes. Believe these reviews, I did the mistake on not listening to them, everyone in there act with some sort of entitlement. Never returning again, if possible I recommend to try...
