I called this location first because it was near my home and asked if she sold individual candies she said yes and not to worry but if there was anything I wanted she could open the packs and sell me individual pieces! I only wanted candy to do the chamoy pickles for my kids! So I showed up literally like 5 min before they closed and the lady there was super nice! Helped me find the candies I needed and was priced cheap! I never knew this store was here after living here about 7 years! I think this small business needs some customers to come by and help out our small business rather than those huge companies! As I walk out there’s a man that came to the door my husband and I stood close just in case we had to get help but the lady went inside and got a soda for the man! I made a reservation to rent chairs for my child’s birthday party and they said they would have it for me for the day I needed them. On the day of the party I called her that morning to confirm and she said she had them ready. When I arrived the lady told me she didn’t have them because the person who rented them last night didn’t return them. Why tell me you have them ready if the last person didn’t return the chairs last night? It was VERY inconvenient because I needed the chairs THAT DAY. I don’t know why she told me she had them when I called that morning. I had to call a lot of places looking for chairs because the party was starting in one hour. I drove from Maricopa to phoenix just to go to this candy store . I usually go to the candy store on 35th ave . This time I tired it because of a lot of recommendations. I showed up at 11 and noticed it didn’t open till 11:30 . I waited the 30 mins and still no one was there . I than called the number on the door and a lady answered i asked if it was going to be open today . She than said well what time is it now and I told her 11:30 she said give them a few minutes and they will open . I waited till 11:45 and than for a text from her saying they will be here at 12 it’s now 1220 and no one is here . I’m super sad I couldn’t get the stuff I needed for my daughter’s chamoy business.
