Unpleasant Customer Experience Due to Jenny the store Manager at the Goodwill on Rte 66 in Glendora
I recently had an unfortunate experience at Goodwill due to the behavior of the manager, Jenny. As a customer, I was taken aback by the way she interacted with me and her employees. Jenny's condescending attitude towards her staff members, speaking to them in a belittling manner as if she were superior, was truly disappointing. Talking to them as if she doesn't need to respect them as fellow employees as well as human beings. The staff here works hard, and trys to make the customers feel welcome, but not Jenny.
Furthermore, when I approached Jenny with a question, her dismissive and curt response made me feel unwelcome and as if I were inconveniencing her by seeking assistance. It's disheartening to encounter such lack of respect and professionalism, especially from someone in a managerial position.
Customers should feel valued and respected when interacting with store staff, including the manager. Jenny's behavior not only reflects poorly on the store but also creates a negative atmosphere for both employees and customers.
In the future, I hope Jenny considers adopting a more respectful and approachable demeanor towards both her team and customers. A welcoming and courteous environment can greatly enhance the overall shopping experience for everyone involved.
Potential customers should be aware of the management style at this Goodwill location, as it may impact their decision to visit the store. I encourage the management to address and rectify these concerning behaviors to create a more positive and inclusive shopping environment for all. The staff is awesome but if you gotta deal with Jenny just put back your items and go to a...
Read moreI've been going and donating items along with money to the work program for this location over the last two years. In the last five months the customer service from certain sales associates has been, for a lack of better words, rude! I noticed how certain employees will greet, smile, and chat with customers, but once I approach the register they will stop smiling, crumble the clothes, ball, and shove the items in the bag while abruptly, with a stone face, bark out the price. I don't know if other people have or are having the same experience, but I am tried of this abrupt disrespect while I Am giving them my money. Therefore, I have shared this experience and the employees with whom I have encountered the disrespect from to corporate. No one especially someone who gets paid to work at any company should treat a person so disrespectly. All I ask is if you are or have gone through this please take time to voice and share your experiences whether good or...
Read moreI love Goodwill! Usually 😐....I came in on a Thursday to take advantage of the $1 tag sale. The ENTIRE time I was shopping a woman employee with blue hair, loudly complained how she hated customers coming in and hoped that they would stay home so she didn't have to clean up after them. I mean non-stop! I could hear her across the store. This specific employee also was the greeter and check me out. She was rude upon my entrance to checking me out. She was rude to everyone! I've never experienced a shopping experience like this. I've been to Goodwills all over the country but this experience was the absolute worst. I've never not been greeted or acknowledged during the checkout. Goodwill employees in my experience are usually very pleasant. It's unfortunate that this employee couldn't be felt the need to complain in front of the public. Hopefully she finds a place of employment she joins clearly it's not...
