It is rare when you find a new store after moving to new areas that workers are so respectful of new customers. Great helper. 12-29-24 Updates: Well, I have been there a few more times since the 1st. But things have changed. Oh wait, not the quality of the food items . Just a few idiot that work there decides to be stupid. I one time ask about the bathroom. Just in case and the young man lied to me telling me it was wet with a water problem but a other customer ask for restroom and I told him what the guy told me but I decided to get him the older man help. Well, it was open by a worker, and na a thing was wrong. The bathroom was cleaner than some folks' house. But you think they're leaves it alone stop lying BS. He sometime work in the meat areas, and I just brought bacon, and he put them i. The bag and shook the bag and bacon was a mess. No, I didn't call him on it. Becuz the Lord sees everything. He is doing nicely digging his own hole indeed. I now wonder if he did something to increase the price of my groceries 🤔 it's just the things I had him on the way out. Also, there are two girl and guy who pack groceries terrible. Even though I have 2 cold storage bags for cold stuff, other bags to put some stuff in. Read moreThe night box boy is very obnoxious on the sound system. He announces when Stater Brothers is closing in a condescending manner to the customers. People who are spending $100+ are treated like cattle with his announcements nightly. I myself am aware of the closing hours buying my groceries after work, and I don't need a snotty attitude over the sound system to prompt me out the door. He has no customer service skills in speaking with customers at the counter as well. A manager or a checker at the store should make the announcement, not him, because the night box boy is full of himself on the microphone. I was at the checkout and overheard him tell a gentleman walking in that he had limited time going in in a rude way, the gentleman walking in said straight out, I work here. Under the box boys breath, he said out loud, well, that's what uniforms are for. The man had a coat on. Jerk responses like this are uncalled for. When I was leaving, he told me to bring back the shopping cart because it was too cold outside for him to hunt for it. I thought to myself, here I am spending $123 of groceries to be handled by a snotty box boy? Put on a coat for crying out loud if it's too cold to do your job, very rude customer service by this guy. Makes my experience at Stater Brothers uncomfortable where there are many other options to shop at different markets that treat the customers...
Read moreWent in and the place was well stocked and clean. The issue was waiting in line behind a senior completing his transaction. The teller apparently had an issue with hat( Red trump hat) and made rude comments about the senior to the teller(a older lady) right across from him, after the senior had left. Seriously? How rude! You have no idea who your talking about and who might hear. You have no idea if the customer you’re talking right through thinks similar or not. If your employees want to trash talk customers they should do it off the clock on their own time AND definitely not in front of other customers. Very unprofessional. I don’t care what you believe or what you wear, who you vote for or don’t. I thank all the tellers, stockers and managers for an awesome job they are doing during this time but policial opinions should be kept to themselves especially when you have all walks of people buying from you guys. Loudly discriminating others/customers is is very...
