The Nook bookstore on Main Street in Gloucester Virginia, is bright, colorful and charming. If you are a book lover and you happen to find this little literary oasis, do yourself a favor, Open The Door! I promise you won't regret it. It's been a long time since Gloucester had an independent bookstore, but you will find the wait has been worth it. The owners are so very nice and helpful. If they don't have what you are looking for, no problem they will order and call you when it's in. On the two occasions that happened to me, the wait wasn't any longer than the wait I would have had with a big box store. Treat yourself to a lovely visit, meet Bob, and browse the stacks. The owners are extremely friendly and personable! A great variety of popular books from Sarah J Maas, Emily Henry, Penn Cole, Jeneva Rose, Brynne Weaver, just to name a few! Everything is so well presented on the shelves, very organized and clean! Upstairs they have such a great space for kids with places to sit and read. They even have a blind date with a book wall!
