Long overdue. As the sole child of a July birth, my wife cherished a ruby ring gifted to her by her late grandmother. But as circumstances should unfold, she was ‘relieved’ of that coveted ring and it was provided to another, never to be seen again. That was ohhh, so many years ago. It was time to right that wrong. Our experience with Vashti’s Jewelers has always been extraordinary and I sought out their services once more. I explained I want to purchase a surprise ‘non-holiday specific’ ruby neckless. It must be a natural gem, fashioned in the shape of a heart, and it had to be dark red in color. I am considering the $300.00 range, “. . .after all a ruby is just another red stone, right?” With subtle awe, they glanced to one another, wondering who it would be to break the news to this gem novice? In gentle verse they explained that I had excellent taste and that my ruby selection was of the most precious type. Endowed with newly acquired knowledge, we proceeded to see what might be available. Nicole and Kevin ordered specimens; obtaining various ruby colors, sizes and shapes for my scrutiny. Nicole kept me updated via email to preserve the surprise. They invested weeks in the search! To set off the ruby, an unpretentious setting was ordered, the gem set, and a white gold neckless selected. No, I didn’t pay $300, but with their gently guidance and personal collaboration I ended up with a neckless I was as proud to present as it was to be received. My wife cried when I presented her the neckless and hugged me sooo tight. . . . Words cannot express how utterly satisfied we are by the personal involvement of the Vashti’s staff and their professional expertise. Exceptional service; exquisite results Seamless teamwork between Tammy who appears to have been trained in concierge‘s service, and Kevin the master jeweler! My wife and I were preparing for our 44th anniversary when we discovered that her ring had been damaged and one of the diamonds had been lost! While Kevin was examining the ring for the appropriate replacement stone he discovered that the actual ring itself had suffered significant damage and would need to be reconstructed in order to prevent future loss of Additional stones! To further exacerbate the problems we found ourselves needing to accomplish this during the height of spring/Summer wedding surge PLUS the post pandemic backlog of all the events previously postponed!! This created a tumultuous time table especially with this Covid crush obstacle. We were told that the optics Did not present a favorable outcome-for the Desired results and too expect ;:based on their early inquiries of their vendors that we should make other arrangements for our celebration date.. understanding that this was a likely outcome;I still ask them to use the power of positive thinking and remain open to the possibilities that They may able to meet pre-established timeline that anniversaries require.That one request that we keep the Faith was taken to heart by Tammy who daily reminded Kevin to check on the details and do that which was seemingly impossible ! Today as I write this on the day of our anniversary I must give praise for their extraordinary vigilance in the midst of the whirlwind of all the other time sensitive events that were also before them ;as wedding dates were also Sacred events that require precise timing. On Monday I went by Vashti's to see if the jeweler could modify a pair of over priced 14kt gold Lana hoops. It was too late to return them to Lana. I had earlobe surgery and was waiting for them to heal before wearingthhr hoops. They are very dinky and lack that wow factor. Unfortunately, it was impossible. I felt resigned and was gathering my earrings when Nicole broke out a jewelry catalog. I was thinking to myself not to bother. I doubted that she would be able to find a modern design that I was seeking. So I hung out for a couple of minutes to be polite. All of a sudden Nicole flipped a page and my eyes lit up and so did hers. Low and behold there was a similar style but with the flashy substance I craved. We ordered them but I did not have to commit. The earrings came in less then four days when I received a call that they had arrived. I clenched my stomach driving to Vashti's thinking I would be disappointed. When they took the earrings out of the package I was overwhelmed with satisfaction. Nicole had me put them on. Words cannot describe how elated I am with these earrings. They were exactly the design I had in mind. They were even less expensive then the designer earrings I was trying to modify. I want to thank Nicole and Vashti's for pursuing my interest in these hoops. It was the end of the evening and Nicole took the time to research. Exceptional service.
