AMAZING work done on my Husbands clock! we had a clock that's been in my Husbands side of the family for a long time, his father gave it to him before he passed and it stopped working so I asked around a bit and found Michael Merica from Rogue River Myrtlewood in Gold Beach, Oregon. He told me he could get it done, and that's exactly what he did. VERY fast, very kind, respectful, and his work was professional. He took his own time to search for parts that would match the look of the clock, glued it, had it in a vice, cleaned the glass, stapled the back on for us, he did a lot and for a very decent price that was really awesome. I highly recommend this place to go too to visit, even if its not some thing that you need worked on its a very beautiful shop, has wonderful things, lighthouses, amazing wood art. Awesome stores and owners. Very talented woodworker. Bowls, utensils, lighthouses, clocks, walking sticks. All kinds of neat things made in the back of his shop. I bought a live edge wall clock.

The adjoining store has really good (handmade by the owner), jams and jellies which you can sample. Very good smelling handmade soaps and all kinds of decorations made from reclaimed materials. I bought a few birdhouses with vintage doorknobs, a big wood and metal rooster and a very cool dragonfly.

I stopped by this store last summer as my husband was bicycling down the Oregon coast. I had stopped at several myrtlewood shops, hoping to find something special to take home with me to remember the trip. And this store was fantastic. I bought one of their large lighthouses, they are all one-of-a-kind with different bases and different patterns along the lighthouse portion, and soldered window panes. It makes a beautiful pattern on the wall when the light is on. The shop owners were so nice and even gave us a tour of their woodworking shop in the back. They make everything there by hand. Such a...
