First and Foremost should be called 0 Star jewelers. Very disappointing on what just took place. I purchased a custom name bracelet for my daughter’s 3rd birthday, this past Sunday. The 2 reps on Sunday advised that the piece would be ready by the upcoming Wednesday the 27th . I received a call Wednesday late afternoon advising if I wanted to pick up the bracelet at another location on like 152nd and 100 and something, which is not where it was purchased. I advised the girl that it was far considering that it was told to me that the pick up was in the store of purchase origination which, is 127 and 88th. I specifically told her that I was advised that bracelet was going to be ready Wednesday in the original location. I advised her that today Thursday March 28th I was going to be next to the jewelry shop doing my hair and that I could pick it up I advised her that I would be next door from 10-11am I reiterated to her that I needed the bracelet there by that time as I am Going on a trip and the bracelet is specifically for my daughter’s 3rd birthday pictures for that trip. She confirmed that she would be there and I reiterated 2x to make sure. Well guess what I finished at the salon and went into the jewelry shop next door at 11:10-15 and asked and she was not there. The rep working called her and she said that she would be there in 15 minutes. Well that was a lie also. Because the time passed and then I asked for the manager who came in and it turned into ohh there is an issue it got shipped to the store instead. So which was it because yesterday Wednesday she had it and agreed to deliver it between 10-11am and then she was supposedly arriving in 15 minutes and the all of a sudden it was shipped another way. There are full of s* and the fact that this was for an important time and they knew of that it made the situation worse. They gave us our money back but on principal That’s not the point it’s was time Wasted time and the fact that now I don’t have the custom bracelet for my daughter’s 3rd birthday trip makes it worse. This only happens once and the fact that they screwed up like this makes them An unreliable place to do business with. I myself deal with clients and my word is everything. You are nothing without your clients, and if you can back up your service you should not be in business. DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THEM they don’t keep their word. I never really write reviews especially anything like this, but the run a round and disrespect to someones time is...
Read moreI went yesterday to have a battery replaced for my Movado watch and was told that the jeweler wasn’t there . I was given the option to either leave my watch overnight or simply come by today and wait while the jeweler replaced the battery which would be a matter of minutes. So I go today and and I’m greeted by a few unfriendly employees, none smiling and I tell them I’m there to replace the battery for my watch and I’m told the jeweler is not there . I tell them that I was told last night that he would be here today. another employee grabs my watch from the counter and goes to the back to talk to someone and then comes back and tells me the battery can be replaced but I have to wait about 15 minutes until the person who has decided to replace the battery finishes his lunch. Obviously this poor customer service was not going to be tolerated so I took my watch and left. On my way home I see a jewelry pawn shop and I go inside and the gentleman takes my watch and in front of me changes the battery in about 2 minutes. He was very friendly and charged me half the price . I will never go back to 5 star jewelry because the fastest way to lose customers is by greeting prospective customers with a cold and boring uninterested look...
Read moreI've been a customer for over ten years. This place use to be excellent when Junior and George where running the place, but I guess the people they've hired now are very unprofessional. It's sad to see a place grow and lose its customer service. My last two experiences where very upsetting. I use to recommend this place, but unfortunately I won't be able to do so again. I'm no longer a customer and definitely do not recommend this place. Be careful if you pawn jewelry, it's a super high interest at 20%. Other jewelry stores offer 5%.In the beginning when the owners ran the store, they had a great relationship with the customers and would do everything to help. Now they use the excuse of the computer and their 1 million store policies to avoid helping out the customers.I guess the bigger the business gets, the less they care about the individuals that helped them grow.I guess it's time to contribute to the small family owned jewelry store that still cares for...
