Greater Grand Forks Fair — Local services in Grand Forks

The large building with various animals in it is run by people who do not seem to care for the animals well being. My friends and I walked around and saw each of the 50ish animals and about half of them had no water in about 85 degree heat. Many animals were lying down and some were pecking at or on top of their dry water bowls. I informed the people running it that half the animals had no water and they told me the kids were in charge of the water. Pretty underwhelming unless you have very young kids. The rides are just "ok." The food is the only highlight. I went in 2022 and each ride cost about $5-6 per. ride. Food was a bit overpriced but honestly not too bad. Fair cost $12 to get into which was BS, it should be free. The pig races were lame and the animal barn was pretty sparse. It's definitely got that "small town feel," but for the size of Grand Forks, I was expecting something more rewarding. Skip the fair and spend your money elsewhere.
