Tropical Smoothie Cafe — Restaurant in Grand Haven

I will NEVER go to this store again!! Every single time they miss something in my order or get it wrong. I LOVE tropical smoothie and I’m a loyal customer! When I call to let them know, I have to call several times before I get an answer. Managers excuse is “we are short staffed”. This last time she told my husband that this is a constant problem with me. YES ma’am you are correct, This IS a problem, but not with me. With your own store! This time when my husband went in to get my order he had asked if the sauce was in with the quesadilla and the lady said yes. Well, sadly it wasn’t. The sauce is my fav! It’s always something! So I guess if you go here just make sure you have all your stuff right before you leave because they can’t do there job right… ever! I don’t want free food or a gift card. I just want to be able to pick my food up and go home and enjoy it. Without something missing or being messed up. Is that too much to ask? I’ll take my business to another store because this one just can’t get...

Usually love the food but I went in today around 4pm and there was only one employee. He told me it was his second week and he was clearly stressing and didn't know how to make anything. I ordered two smoothies, a wrap, and a salad and I was the only customer at the time. I sat for an entire HOUR for my food that normally takes 10 minutes. He continually forgot that I had more parts to my order and it didn't even get made until another employee eventually came in. Not to mention my wrap was made terribly and not even close to how it usually comes. Wasn't even wrapped properly with the food sticking out touching the counter. Luckily the other employee remade the food for me, but I don't think I'll be coming...

Well I showed up for the “Grand Opening “ on Aug 28th and when I showed up they said they changed the day to Friday!! The 31st instead. I woke up 2 hours early so I could come early to work and pick a smoothie up and hopefully get to be the first 50 but now I don’t even care. So I order my food and smoothies and the 1 person who was there, was a black lady who was not happy about her job at all. Having attitude every which way....probably due to the fact that everyone showing up was for the grand opening. All in all, the smoothie was not that good, (I prefer Jamba Juice)!!
