Discount Tire — Local services in Grand Island

Today I arrived at 8 am to buy new tires for my son’s car. There were three customers standing outside the store when I pulled in the parking lot. The employees where opening the shop while the customers waited. By the time I walked to the front door the employees were helping the customers. I stood outside hoping someone would acknowledge me and let me know what I needed to do. I made eye contact with the employees but they did not acknowledge my presence. The first three customers walked into the store and I followed behind them. I stood in in the designated line (I was the only one in line). Finally, 10 minutes later David walked in the store and acknowledge me and said he would be helping me. Unfortunately, Kyle walked in the store at 8:20am, He sees me standing in line but turned and pointed to a customer that wasn’t standing in line and told David to help him first. I felt very offended by Kyle’s action. In my opinion he was was very unprofessional. Kyle should have acknowledge me and say “Miss, we have a customer in front of you and we will help you as soon as we can. “ I felt, if I was a man, Kyle would have treated me differently. Fortunately, David helped me 7 minutes later and provided me excellent customer service. You should acknowledge David for his professionalism. I spent over $900 at this store. Absolutely the most amazing staff at any tire store in Grand Island. Everyone at discount tire is so friendly, patient, knowledgeable, professional and they seem to genuinely care about the customer. Kyle the manager is super all around. He takes the time to consult, offer opinions, educate and explain all the options available. He really knows his wheels/rims, and tires. If he can offer a better price he will. He has an incredible amount of options you can choose from. He takes the time to call you back when he says he will. He explains the benefits of certain tires and wheels and also explains if their are any cons or downsides to certain rims or tires. He stands behind his service and his sales 100%! They will air up or check your tires free of charge.. They are right on time with scheduled appointments.. They offer rotations and other services as well. The store is large and very clean with a comfortable waiting area. Parking is big open and great. Again, genuinely the best group I've worked with for new tires and rims. Will continue to use them in the future and will happily spread the word to my friends and family about their exemplary sales and service. Called them at 8:05AM to ensure they were in fact open and could get me in for my tire rotation, Brody said come in. Loaded up with my wife in tow and headed right down there. When we arrived (1st trip, main office / waiting room under construction) employee came right up to my Jeep as soon as I got out and informed us that all their air compressors were down. Told the young lady that i needed an oil change so I would just come back. After running down to the local oil change facility got my oil and filters replaced so we headed back (2nd trip). Upon arriving we were met by the same young lady and she stated that the compressors still not up. We then ran to Walmart (other side of town) to stop by the pharmacy and do so little lite shopping after we left decided to go get something to eat back on the side of town close to Discount Tire. After finishing our sandwich’s thought we would try one more time to get my tires rotated so back we went (3rd trip there). Well luck and perseverance paid off as Brody got us in rotated my tires and changed my windshield wipers (as requested) really fast.
