T.J. Maxx — Local services in Grand Island

My daughter loves this store, and unfortunately for my wallet, so do I. I joked with her once after going there by myself that I should not be allowed to go without supervision anymore or I buy too much. they always have amazing clearance deals on top of the already reduced pricesn items. it's always a hit and miss as the merchandise they carry is always changing, think of a store like Burlington or Ross Dress for Less (but better selection). I have found makeup, shoes, essential oils, kitchenware, etc. priced way below the prices I've seen on the same items in other stores.

for example, I love peppermint essential oil, but even at Walmart the lowest price is $5 for .5 oz. I found a 4 oz bottle of it for $5 at TJ Maxx. or an eye shadow palette for $4, that would have been at least $10 elsewhere. also shown is pillow and room spray that was $4, originally $12, Blowfish brand shoes that were $20 (normally $30-$45) and an elephant that has a removable warming pouch in it that was $5...

Unfortunately just left TJ Maxx in Grand Island, NE 20 minutes before they closed. Noticed the lights off in the fitting rooms so went up front to ask to try on my three pieces quickly. They let me know they had already racked the clothes and weren’t reopening them since they close soon. I let them know I would be quick and done before 9:30, they said no. There were 4 ladies and one guy standing there with NO customers checking out. There was one kind young lady working the racks who asked us if we needed anything. I kindly sat my items on the desk for them to put away and left. One of them could have stepped away from the crowd and been a leader. Doing what’s right for the customers usually means doing what’s right for the company. Haven’t left many negative reviews as a business owner and leader I know one bad experience shouldn’t define your overall perceived customer service. But this time, I hope their manager or someone sees this and makes a change...

5.45 pm 10/31/2023 i visited the store and i had an issue with item on sale ,i asked for mannager and She was unable to come to cashier and there was anybody to give a solution.The item was in clearense area "undeawear Men" the box was broken and left one underwear.The answer feom cashier was" they cant lower price " there was only 3 undewar it should be 4.in that case each undewear should be sell by separed in sheaper price. But they didnt give a solution.it was as simple if manager dint can come to cashier could be tell to other staff to give me a solution and not to tell me to comeback other day because i was shopping more items and its not the only time i buy in this store.TJMax emploees should takecare a few more custumer.thats way i return all my stuff that...
