Perkins American Food Co. — Restaurant in Grand Island

Very dissatisfied. We arrived at 7pm and order taken within 5 minutes. It then took 45 minutes to receive our order, and this was after I had to search for our waitress and ask her about it. She said they were taking longer, yet I observed 5-6 plates of cooked orders sitting on top of the pick area yet to be delivered. And only one cook. It took another 10 minutes to get our food. The asparagus was over cooked and limp. My pork chops were 1/4 inch thick and dry. We had ordered a piece of pie which our waitress forgot about and when reminded she brought the wrong kind out so we had to reorder it. Besides this our waitress not once checked on us in the hour and a half we were there to refill our water glasses, etc. There was one couple who sat for about 20 minutes with no one waiting on them and they had to ask for some to come take their order. Another couple had ordered turkey and sent it back as the stuffing was not fully cooked and runny and the gravy was dry. Their waitress brought back the same plate of food saying it was a new plate. They asked to speak to the manager and she arrived at their table in clothing that looked like she just came from doing yard work. Pink shorts and a grey tshirt, definitely not Perkins attire nor professional looking. They were told to pick out any kind of pie they wanted and when their waitress returned 15 minutes later to take that order was told they were out of the kind they selected. That should have been addressed before they were told to pick any kind. And at a fourth table the order was also incorrect receiving a wrong omelet. And they had to wait for the correct one to be made. Mind you, there were only 7 tables with customers in the main dining area at this time on a Friday evening. This restaurant used to be a quality restaurant but if the service continues like this we foresee it closing. What...

I've gone to Perkins to eat more times than I can count. Usually the food and service are good however tonight was much different. I went in to eat around 10pm and there were only a few tables with customers. I ordered some ala carte items...hot chocolate, biscuits and gravy with hashbrowns and french toast. The waitress didn't tell me that they were out of whipped cream for my hot chocolate until after she served it to me and walked away...I had to ask her about it. I wouldn't have ordered it had I known and barely had 2 sips of it. The biscuits and gravy were so so. The biscuits were a little dry, and the bottom of the biscuits were hard like they had been microwaved, and I had to ask for more gravy because there wasn't enough put on the plate. I waited for my waitress to come check on me and make sure my food was good but after 10 minutes of waiting I got up and peeked my head into the kitchen, as I was the only table there at that point, and asked for more gravy. My hashbrowns were not cooked all the way, and there was barely any color on them and so I didn't eat them. My french toast was good except the waitress brought me brioche french toast when I ordered regular. They hot chocolate and hash browns were taken off of my bill completely. I still wound up paying 19.52 for 2 pieces of french toast and 2 sausage biscuits with gravy. I also drank a glass of water with a small slice of lemon. It was an unpleasant experience and definitely not good food or a good waitress. Plus, the price for the food I received was expensive, and...

I just want to start off by saying I absolutely love this perkins location. My family and I come here often when we want a good breakfast meal or just a good home-y meal and dont feel like cooking. The food and service is usually wonderful, but tonight we didnt have a very good experience and it honestly seemed pretty shady to me, so I think Im going to leave a 1-Star review and let me explain to you why.

My wife and I just got our late night to-go meals from Perkins and we are FAR less than satisfied. Not only was my food cold, but all of our meal sides are completely wrong. We customized our sides to what we wanted online, I ordered mashed potatoes and Broccoli with my pot roast, and my wife wanted breakfast potatoes with her omelet. Upon finding out they were wrong, I called them right away and politely let them know about the mistake. Her very quick response was "Well what does the ticket say?" And when I dug up our ticket, it shows all of our sides to be changed or modified to ALL ASPARAGUS. Once she knew the meals did match the receipt she gave me a quick "Have a good night" and hung up.

This leads me to believe that, because we ordered an hour from closing, they modified our meal orders to get rid of what was leftover instead of making up our full order. And they used the edited receipt as an excuse so they didn't have to fix anything, like it was my own mistake. But we double, triple checked our meals before we hit Pay.

...Like seriously, I don't mind it sometimes, but who would order this...
