Dime and Regal is excellent. It's the best jewelry store I could find in Grand Rapids. I bought matching earrings and a necklace as Christmas gifts for my girlfriend. I liked the taste and variety of all the jewelry and the elegant yet casual store experience. I met the owner Samantha and she was great. Later, I was engagement ring shopping and just did not find the right one after looking at several stores around GR and Detroit. I decided to reach out to Samantha about a custom ring. She was very good from the start, guiding me through the process and working with the different ideas I had until we narrowed it down to the perfect design. It was nice working one-on-one with her, and she was the one who made the ring herself. By the time I put down a deposit to start the design renderings, I was very confident that it would come out beautifully. I had some specific ideas that she nailed, and her decisions and feedback about it all came together so well. My now-fiancé has a specific style and it could not fit her better. I think it was great as far as value too. The price was very reasonable for getting the absolute best one-of-a-kind ring for my gal. She absolutely loves it and said it's better than any of the rings she ever looked at herself. I literally could not be happier with it....

One of my favorite shops ever, a completely unique fine jewelry experience! The craftsmanship and quality of materials, in addition to originality, is so apparent here, plus the pieces are by women designers which is so special. To me, items have been priced accordingly, and there’s something to fit many budgets. I have bought several pieces for myself and for family/friends as gifts! The most important to mention however, is my custom designed engagement ring that my fiancé worked with the owner, Samantha, on to complete in time for a recent vacation so that he could propose. The ring is better than anything I could have imagined, it is STUNNING and I’m so grateful for Samantha and her creative skills, it’s like she read my mind without even knowing me. Also, I was told that she was excellent to work with, highly knowledgeable and did not pressure any decisions. Literally left a local well-known jeweler where I’d previously had custom pieces made and drove straight to D&R b/c a good friend had recommended them as a women-owned small business and it was omw home lol!
