I walked in and was met with the most warm and inviting woman at the front. She immediately greeted me and struck up a conversation answering all my questions about her and her sister's business and all the pastries and drinks and even the history of the building. She recommended the creme brulee latte. It was so delicious and the top literally tasted like marshmallow fluff. I knew the latte would be on the sweeter side because of the name (and it was) so I got a savory scone with sundried tomatoes and rosemary to go with the latte. It was the perfect balance. I usually avoid scones because they're so dry especially the savory ones but the inside of this scone I got was so moist and the perfect texture of crumble on the outside. It was around $10 for a drink and a pastry but that's just the majority of cafes today anyway and the economy so not gonna take a star for that because everything else...

My favorite spot in town!

Alyson is an espresso expert. If you see someone weighing out their espresso for every shot, you know you’re going to get a perfect drink. The fruity pebbles latte is the best I’ve ever had, the Biscoff latte is a close second.

The pastries are to die for, I haven’t had one that I didn’t like. My favorites are the sun dried tomato cheddar rosemary scone, fruity pebbles rice crispie treat, and the bliss bars! Mallory is a genius pastry chef.

The building itself is so cool. I love that they kept the historic vibes and have the history of the building posted in the bathroom.

I do not drink alcohol, so their mocktail selection is greatly appreciated. A lot of places just throw juices together and call it a day, but they elevate their mocktails above and...

My sister and I went on a Saturday morning around 11. Tried the bliss bar - apricot and coconut and my sis had quiche and a savory scone. Everything was delicious beyond any expectations or other French bakeries I've been to. I ordered a Chai latte, and it was by far the BEST chai I've ever tasted! All those spices and steamed, frothed milk so creamy! My sis had the Matcha Latte and said the same. Prices were in keeping with the excellence of product. Service was swift and with a smile. I'm from Canada and I'll make this place a staple whenever I'm in GR again! I'm drooling just...

Happily made the trek to GR, one of my favorite foodie cities in Michigan for the new coffee shop. Interesting story of two sisters who were raised by a French mother and spent time in Francr as children. They offer French pastries along with coffee. I had a delicious Nutella latte with almond milk. The financier was my favorite and I would eat 20 at least! The eclair, apple hand pie and cookie were okay. I would definitely recommend the financier and will be back to try more coffee in the future. Bit busy so if you visit soon be prepared to wait as it's popular at the moment

It's unfortunate that the place is so small cause it's amazing! Their creativity with coffee flavours, mocktail mixing, and bakery delights are practically magic. The Nutella mousse cake is so airy and rich, the creme brulee latte isn't as overbearingly sweet as I thought it was going to be, and the biscoff latte was like having a whole dessert in liquid form. Not to mention that the service is down right outstanding. They always strike up a conversation, make sure you're in complete satisfaction with your order, and just the nicest down to earth people you'll ever meet
