I was enthralled by the beauty of Jean Stoffer designs. Especially after seeing her work on The Magnolia Network. I reached out regarding the cabinet designs Stoffer designs offered and I was digitally met by two wonderful designers. They were true professionals and very knowledgeable. However, I did not realize they only accepted cash. After going through discussions about the design I wanted for my kitchen, I was told to make a deposit and I was sent a link. It allowed me to pay via credit. Sadly, when it was time to proceed with the actual cabinet order, I was told it was cash only. When I expressed that I had no idea that was the only option, ultimately, I was told my deposit of $4500 was non refundable. I was left with no cabinets and $4500 short. Cliqstudios has the same exact cabinets and I proceeded to go with them. Especially knowing that Jean Stoffer uses MDF for the face fronts of her cabinets just like all the other companies do.
Cliq Studios offers the same cabinets for half the price and they offer no interest payment options. In addition, the shipping cost is free with Cliqstudios whereas with Stoffer designs, they charge. Finally, Cliq Studios provides the design package for free. Even the design itself looks better from Cliq Studios. You can easily visualize what your kitchen will look like. Stoffer's renderings are antiquated. Save your money and go to Cliqstudios. If I can save one person from over spending and going through what I have, then my job is done. I am not one that likes leaving negative comments, but this one is necessary.
It seems Stoffer designs is more interested in a quick buck than caring for the customer. Buyer beware.
Stoffer's design did not start my renderings from scratch. I provided renderings I previously had. As I demolished my kitchen, we updated the...
Read moreI have LOVED Stoeffer Home on instagram and was very excited to purchase a high quality rug as seen in their inspiring designs, Unfortunately, I was very disappointed in the quality--the rug up close looked nothing like the images on instagram or on the website and was almost like a hard plastic fibrous material with a graphic image of a vintage rug printed on it---the material says "power loomed". I learned it was made in China and I immediately shipped it back which cost me $65.00 at the cheapest flat rate. I was charged a $163 for a "restocking" fee. I understand the restocking fees for furniture and larger bulkier items, but not for a rug or at least not at a $163 price tag! I was also charged and additional $15 for shipping. So all in all I paid $730 for a rug (2x shipping + restocking) and was refunded $487.50 after returning. So I am out $242.50 with nothing to show for it. Very disappointing especially because I thought I was buying a high quality product from a family company that was local....
Read moreI purchased several wreaths and garlands from Stoffer Home online. They were on sale, and priced well. When the box arrived, I first noticed that they used a sturdy shipping box and labeled the contents “fragile.” Star! I opened the box and there was a nice postcard thanking me for my order. Star! I opened the beautiful blush tissue paper revealing my wreaths and garlands. Star! They were securely wrapped in bubble wrap, as well as the beautiful blush tissue. Star! They are high quality items that I am thrilled with. Star! I spent my career in customer service and it is evident that Stoffer Home excels in customer service. Even though the items were on sale, they were treated with TLC. So, 5 Stars to you, Jean Stoffer and your team. Great job!...
