Again RUDE SERVICE FROM STAFF. accepted a delivery order from here. When I arrived I was told they were ONLY WAITING on the cheese sticks from the oven and it would be 7 minutes. 7 minutes came and went 15 minutes came and went and I asked for an update. And then I was told my cheese sticks were ready BUT MY SANDWICHES HADN'T EVEN BEEN STARTED. So I was lied to from the beginning. And not only that they obviously didn't care about the diners food as the cheese sticks were just sitting there getting cold for over 20 minutes before I finally left. Then another staff member literally told me I didn't have to TAKE THE ORDER when I got upset after over 15m of waiting. So I asked for the manager and he smirked and told me he was the manager. Definitely not the way to treat people whether they're just a delivery driver or customer. Then to be petty I heard him tell the cook I could wait. I used to be a customer as well but definitely no longer. Will I still have to pick up delivery orders here probably because I don't control what my service sends me. BUT I will definitely be letting my friends, family and other delivery drivers know what the management here feels about the customers and people delivering to their customers.
Avoid this location if you want friendly helpful staff. They never seem glad to help you. I have been here a few times and NEVER see them smiling unless they are talking to each other. And questions are responded to with vague answers usually not even a response to...
Read moreMy fave go-to Uber Eats breakfast! I love their bacon arugula breakfast sandwich, their teas, and they have wonderful coffee. Also my favorite croissants in town. I’ve been going to WSB since they opened, back when I lived in Heritage Hill. It’s been a staple for me. If you’re looking for something sweet, try a Townie (I think that’s what it’s called!) and a Cafe Vienna.
Edit to the original: WSB used to be the one place I knew I could order from on a delivery app and have the quality be pretty consistent. Of my last 4 orders here, all 4 have had something wrong, missing, or messed up in some way. Most recently, I ordered a Margherita pizza and got, instead, pizza crust covered in mozzarella with a few sliced tomatoes on top. No sauce, no fresh mozz, no basil. If you are out of ingredients and it causes you to be THAT off on making an item, how about (like just about every other restaurant does) calling the person who ordered to offer them either a refund or substitution instead of making them pay $15 for something that doesn’t have any of the ingredients of the original? But you won’t because you know Uber Eats doesn’t support customer complaints anymore, and you’ll still make that $15 regardless of what you send the customer. I’ve still never had an issue with Hall Street—better off just going to/ordering from...
Read moreVisited in 05-2017 and yesterday, 04-20-2018, both times for a late lunch. The reasons I won't give this 5-stars (it was a close thing), the men's room had bits of paper towels on the floor and we were late getting a coffee with out order. Both of these are correctable issues. Other than that, this place outdoes Panera, and that's saying something. Had the ham and swiss combo, the sandwich was a meal in itself, and I must comment about the tomato slices on the sandwich as the devil is in the details, and they take good care of those details, i.e. the tomatoes were beautiful, not those partially unripe tomatoes you may run into in some of those chains. I noted that they had sea salt in the salt shakers, a detail that I like. I had a cup of the white chicken chili, and it was perhaps the best example of that style of chili that I've ever had (still a big red fan). I'll also give a thumbs up for their WiFi, and that's not something that I say everyday. I should note that there is an off-street parking area accessible from the left-side (when facing the front of the restaurant) that actually winds around the back of the restaurant in an L-shape with quite a few parking spaces (as on-street parking can be difficult in GR in general). It was a welcome respite for...
