This shop is awesome! Great makers, great products, great conversations. It's amazing having a spot in town where you can walk in, pitch a concept for something custom, and have a variety of artists ready to step in and make your dreams a reality. Parliament hosts guests artists but is also home to Elyse (Littlewings Designs) and Jake (Harbinger Leather Design) - a married couple making some amazing leather goods.

Jake made me a custom bag 5 years ago - before Parliament even existed - as a gift to my husband. He loved that bag and it went with him everywhere. It wore in beautifully with age and was something he treasured. Tragically the original bag was stolen during a car break in. Jake worked with me again to create a replacement bag, capturing a lot of the features we loved from the original bag but also making tweaks and improvements based on feedback from the first bag. The new bag was larger to accommodate our massive laptop, with a few other custom tweaks. It was such a special experience to work with Jake on both bags - and my husband loved them both.

We needed a forever collar for our English Mastiff, who, bless his heart, ruined several. The folks at Gemini Handmade designed and crafted a collar that will last and absolutely won't fail. The thoughtfulness and care in the design and construction couldn't be better. And his name is on it. There's no way he will bend this D ring, or damage this in any way.

Second time here in this bar. First of all it's super small for the greatest crowd they have, it's hard to find a place to sit down inside or outside. Of course the crowd says it all how great this bar is! I'm glad my better half found this place first time he visited me here in Dallas. Went there second time just couple weeks ago and we're taken care of by the very sweet Gabby. I had fruit champagne punch that was delicious and he had old fashioned and a few more drinks that I can't remember.
