Went to the bar after dinner with group of friends (date night without kids). We’re having a great night. Drinks were great and server was personable and friendly. Everything changed when we paid the $150+ bill…. Apparently another server that cleared our table took exception to the fact that we had placed some of the garnishes from our drinks in the empty water bottle at the table. He voiced his displeasure with us which was awkward to say the least ( $1 bottle vs $150 bill). But it did not end here. He took the bottle back to the bar area (where we could still see because walls were glass) where he ranted to everyone working behind the bar. Nasty glares were then received by more staff. Finally, the “bar manager” came outside to officially put us in our place by scolding us like 8 year old children and informed us she would no longer be serving us any more water. In an attempt to salvage the night/mood/ etc we apologized and even offered to pay for the glass bottle bc apparently removing the garnishes was just a complete impossibility. The manager (evening of June 11) would have none of it and continued scolding us and telling how disrespectful we were for putting left over mint leaves in the bottle. When asked if she thought it was a good idea to scold customers who just spent a bunch of money over a $1 bottle, she said yes. So be careful…if you do anything to offend the folks that work here, you may get scolded or worse yet, be cut off from drinking water. A sad ending to our otherwise great evening…we...
Read moreWalked in and sat at the bar. Maybe 10 people in the entire bar. We wait. A man walks up and sits one seat away from us 5 minutes later. He’s served first. We order our drinks. We decide to get a root beer float - the alcoholic version. They say “we have to run next door for ice cream” - why don’t you have it in stock? 20 minutes later we get our drinks… and it’s just a shot. Not even a full drink. Honestly, the entire time we’re waiting was an entire buzzkill. We almost walked out, but felt bad because we had already ordered drinks. It almost seemed like the bartender was avoiding us. Wasn’t very friendly and definitely not attentive. So - that’s service. Atmosphere - basic, bland, nothing special. Such a bummer. A very cool location that has potential. Also - note - this is a Long Road distillery flagship cocktail bar. Everything is Long Road - not bad, but just to note. We were so turned off by our experience. I don’t think we’ll be going back. Try Drip Drop instead - another super cute, great atmosphere cocktail bar in SW for a better vibe, better service and...
Read moreMy friend and I went to Less Traveled on the Friday before Christmas to catch up. We were there for 30 mins without being waited on and the table next to us had to flag the waitress down to order. My friend and I decided to split a snow globe drink, which was great, however after an hour of drinking and talking we had to ask for the check. We were there for a total of 1 1/2 hours and were asked to leave by the hostess because “there were parties on the waitlist”. Despite there being a table next to us that was available and a party of 6 that had arrived before us, they asked 2 females to leave when we were simply wrapping up conversation and already on the way out. After a pleasant evening of great conversation and great drinks, this definitely left a sour taste in our mouths when leaving. It was even apparent how rude they were when the single guy next to us asked “are they really kicking you out”. Definitely won’t be back for a...
