I ordered a pair of boots online and received an email confirmation. After a week I still had not received an email with shipping info and tracking number. I emailed customer service and was assured I would receive shipping confirmation within a couple of days. Again, I didn't receive any communication from anyone. At this point ten days had passed since I placed my order and with this being a Christmas gift I was concerned. In my email I even said hey, if you don't have the item, that's fine just refund my money so I can get it somewhere else. After inquiring again I was told that the item was on backorder until January 20. The person was apologetic but admitted they should have checked this a week and a half earlier when I first inquired. They asked if I wanted to wait until the item came in on January 20. I declined and requested a refund. Luckily I was able to get the item on Amazon with two days shipping and get it in time for Christmas although it cost a little more. Next time I will stick with what works. Had I not kept emailing these people I think I would have still been waiting in January on...

The first time I was asked about experience and where I was going. They could probably be great fishing guides. I have never felt like they are trying to up sell me. In fact, I picked out some fairly expensive braided line and almost in unison the man helping me and another man behind the counter said there was something as good if not better and for a lot less. Then put it on the reel. Another time I stopped for lures and while checking out rods, i was asked if I needed some help. Told him not this time. He still told me all about the rods knowing I wasn't going to buy. The prices are the same as other stores, but with all the help I get each time I go, the prices in my opinion are less. On 1-16-19, I placed an online order for an auger that was on sale and did next day shipping as I needed it for a trip in 2 days. The order would not complete online so I contacted customer service by phone and checked to see if the order had in fact completed.
Turned out it did not complete so she asked if I just wanted her to do the order for me while I was on the phone. I had her complete the order and as I initially had requested next day delivery, I confirmed with her that I still wanted that. She noticed that I was from Minnesota and offered to ship it out via Speedee delivery which provided next day delivery for me and offered it for free, saving me more than $45.00.
