Grand Buffet — Restaurant in Grand Rapids

Save yourself a terrible experience and don't eat here. My wife and I showed up at around 4:00, which is sort of an unusual time. When we asked what the price was they told us $8.50, but half way through filling our plates they came over and told us it was $11.50. We were a little torn on staying because of the 6 dollar price hike (2 of us) but we were hungry and didn't want to seem like jerk, loading up out plates and then leaving. The waitresses were nice enough, came to our table a couple of times to refill drinks. The food though, the food was terrible. Pretty much everything was over done. I had several chicken items, bbq chicken, fried chicken, broccoli chicken,sweet and sour chicken, all of which were dry and gristlely, unabashedly terrible. Most of the veggies in the various dishes were over cooked mush. Even my soft serve ice cream was on the runny side.

All in all a downright terrible experience. I definitely wouldn't...

If I could give it no stars I would . worst food ever dried out and old . rude workers . And whats is with there signs dont take more then you can eat. At a buffet ? I find it rude . the place was filthy . the waitress kept coming and reaching over our plates to remove plates and bring drinks . but never once offered to refill the 3 year olds glass. even after they seen me give her half of my milk . then gave me dirty looks for putting it in her sippy cup . we had a 3 year old with she loves the noodles but was so excited to be out to eat she would hardly eat and we seen them give them to go boxes to a older couple and watched them dump there food in them so I kindly asked for a box because the child was too excited to eat the gal left and another came back and very rudely said we eat it here not take home and walked away no sorry nothing . will NEVER go...

I went there last night for dinner I ate and got up to pay and went to the front paid with a $100 bill for my meal and it was $13 meal the cashier handed me back my change with no receipt and on $72 dollars so as I was walking out I did the math and walked back to the cashier and ask if there might have been a mistake with my change and she said yes and apologize but after that she started getting upset with me for tipping them I do but not all the time but like why would you try to steal my money that I worked for you guys are messed up I wonder how many peoples money you guys have actually taken and gotten away with not cool...
