if you like paying $40 for (literally) tattered and falling apart shirts when you could buy a new one from the same brand for less, this is the place for you! there's also a rubber toy snake with chunks missing for $12 for the kids too! the point of second hand to to save money AND the environment, who GAF if it's 20+ years old when it costs a full day of work, shows it's age, and you can get multiple of the same thing for half the price. this is why people have given up on shopping second hand; you have to spend a whole day seeing this outrageous pricing to possibly find 1 good deal. at least it's cute inside.
ETA: didn't say you had new clothes, I'm saying you're doubling the price of clothing that looks like it could be a costume for an apocalypse survivor compared to buying a new one elsewhere for less. whether you're selling the rubber snake as a toy or "decor" (seeing as how it was displayed with an insanely expensive mini leather journal under it), my point still stands as selling something that belongs in the garbage for the cost of a meal at a restaurant. unless your target customers are delusional wealthy people, you're a glorified vintage display store. you know your pricing is out of control when all the depop resellers walk out...

Read morewonderful thrift store with many mid century modern furniture and collectibles alike. Was looking for mid century glasses to complete our bar set and found them at a fair price in pristine condition at lost and found. met one of the owners at lost and found, he was very pleasant and helpful; as was his staff. the thrift store next to them had a serving piece that matched the glasses to my excitement. The best furniture by far was at lost and found treasures but the other two stores nearby made it so fun to add a few extra hours looking at all kinds of treasures. of note, the owner at lost and found treasures was willing to discount the glasses too so very fair...
